Nick Walker TMA PARIS Print Release, by forbiddenlove on Jun 30, 2012 12:04:37 GMT 1, Mate called them and they said they are emailing all of the winners later today with a process to check out. Obv it won't work of you just called up and made payment. They should just email everyone a unique code to match the email. You ring up, say the email an code and then make payment.

Nick Walker TMA PARIS Print Release, by sfinks on Jun 30, 2012 13:07:47 GMT 1, The print releases in 2012 has been a pure nightmare for true collectors. I think the time has come to think on alternative releases. This was not one of them.
I have yet to be able to get a print from sourse on a release in 2012, even tho ive been F5ing like crazy on all the releases. More timed releases?

+1, although it is also a good way to save money and buy originals

Nick Walker TMA PARIS Print Release, by ecb on Jul 1, 2012 17:21:57 GMT 1, +1. I'm pretty shocked here since I also got picked in the last TMA lotto for the NYC one. So stoked to pair this up with the TMA. I havent framed tat one because it really doesnt go with what I currently have fraed and up on my walls. Pairing these two up will look amazing. I was going to buy one from Ebay anyway. For anyone who wasn't lucky enough to be selected in the lottery, I wouldn't worry too much and dont really see these selloing for much over cost on Ebay. It's just always a gamble buying something from Ebay. Some people really dont know how to properly handle and package prints, especially large ones. Totally stoked about this, and to think I almost missed it because this email was in my junk/spam box.

Nick Walker TMA PARIS Print Release, by sanchorockin78 on Jul 9, 2012 14:55:16 GMT 1, Absolutely chuffed to have received an email from Jacqueline to say I had got one of these!!. Having lived in Paris for over 3 years, and for 6 months squatted in an abandoned top floor flat accesible only through rooftop skylight, this was the most poignant TMA release for me, especially with the vandal walking the roofs!. I was lucky enough to have done this ( minus the graff / vandalism , then known as 'Forbidden Paris', walking along the rooftops. We regularly used to walk distances along the rooftops to take a pew and a ahem, 'jazz cigarette', infront of the Champs-Elysees of Sacre Coeur. Ahh, heady days.

Nick Walker TMA PARIS Print Release, by yeah on Jul 9, 2012 15:00:03 GMT 1, sounds like lovely memories.
I'm not a NW fan at all, but this sums up what is so great about art. When art touches you and gives you a feeling, or a memory, or an inspiration, all the hate goes out of the window, and all the love comes in

Thanks Yeah!, that's pretty much the driver for this purchase,I do not even think its one of the best TMA releases IMHO, but the relevance to me far outweighs the quality of the work

Nick Walker TMA PARIS Print Release, by hitme on Jul 11, 2012 22:33:57 GMT 1, Does anybody have any thoughts for framing yet? Why is it so quiet around here with regards to this release?
The TMA series is always so popular and beautifully-executed.

I think it's because Nick hasn't done anything "new" in years. I don't own any of the TMA series but I also can't imagine why anyone would want to own/hang more than one.
It's tired.

I feel as though all of them have something unique about them. Not completely repetitive like Shepard Fairey or some other artist. It also seems that demand/popularity has something to do with the selected city. New York and London are hot, yet Hollywood is not so much. I would think that Paris would be one of the more sought-after images given that people enjoy that city so much. Anyway, just curious. That's what art is all about --- debate.

Nick Walker TMA PARIS Print Release, by brushstrokes75 on Jul 12, 2012 0:21:09 GMT 1, My guess would be that now that so many cities are being release, people only go for the one(s) that is relevant to them (or go for it because they have the whole set).
I would also say that not a lot of French are familiar with Nick's work (except for the ones who hang out here or are following the scene - especially in the UK). Primary markets would probably the UK, the US & Japan for Nick's works.
Edit : I'll add the people who don't like the print or feel like Nick is only a one trick poney...
