Yes I saw it and nearly put up a thread. Banksy loaded uni boy graffiti ing with daddy's money, think that was the quote ! Is this true? I doubt it. Anyway I'm always a bit suspicious of anyone ( Goldie in this case) who feels the need to prove how street they are.

He was painting early on, but pioneer is stretching it a bit too far.

His art is crisp and first class, he is obviously extremely talented and I was chuffed to buy a few pieces on his opening night. He say's he wears his heart on his sleeve, well comments like this are pretty strong and don't seem to fit within the graf community, but then again he likes to portray the gangster image and comments so obviously controversial will no doubt help him do this!? - Just an opinion!

Hence the disclaimer "probably"

He is good guy in my book, if you knew where he came from you might understand the chip on shoulder a bit more (not condoning it, cos everyone has a story)

Yep... happily bought a "Life Ain't Black and White" print with the beautiful Pixie modelling for it... Pixie herself tipped me off about it, so thought I should buy it out of loyalty. Still, my wife loves it and we are finding a place to hang it in our bedroom once I decide on how best to frame it. Like jonpud says, everyone is entitled to their opinion on a person/subject. I for one love the Goldie print.

I think he's a legend too Cashman - I just really don't like his current work. It's a shame because I was expecting something a lot better - something that looked as if it come from the streets when he was a youngster graffing around wolverhampton......
