Banksy GWB Sotheby's June 27th, by pelle on Jun 27, 2012 20:47:36 GMT 1, Not being funny and a lovely piece but surely the original GWB was the first one. Possibly the second as taken and copied from a photo. So photo is the original. Banksy's first rendition must also be his original any thing after regardless of better or worse is a variation. Now could. Be an original on metal etc but not the original unless it's the first
"So photo is the original."
Would you care to expand on this very confusing statement?

Banksy GWB Sotheby's June 27th, by Rude Copper on Jul 10, 2012 19:25:49 GMT 1, the explanation was along the lines of banksy was on the southbank, when he saw a woman chatting to her friends, & her kid was crying & screaming for attention, the woman bought her a balloon in an attempt to pacify her, ergo the balloon is a substitute for the love that the child was crying out for. or something like that. May not be the bonafide explanation, but i like it.
