I'm not a fan of his artwork. But I do respect the fact that he gets his work up on the streets, even if I am not particularly fond of what he puts there. I would like to see more of his photography. I recall some photographs being shared on here a few years ago, and liking them very much. Photographs of what looked like an abandoned hospital if memory serves (which it often doesn't).

I too think that getting up his artwork is respect worthy.
Also interesting to note he supposedly received a personalized letter of encouragement from Banksy many years back.

Did Cartain not steal some pencils from Damien Hirst's chemistry show at the Tate - then tried to hold someone to ransom - then had the filth on his back due to the theft of artwork??

I recently read than he was homeless for a while and gave some of his art to the evening standard homeless charity appeal..

Anyway that's not the matter. Cartrain have been help by Banksy, and his name isondisdociable of Banksy or Hirst, as Tox, the legend graffeur, and now last artists that Banksy invited to Dismaland.
They don't do the same art anyway from far.
Cartrain have " ennemies " , some are telling that he only now makes prints or posters with different colors ( Mickey, Kim Sung Bush etc..? ) . I like them anyway. Cartrain made me win an giant Mickey / LVuitton poster that I could not framed it ;-)
He answered me when I asked him to authenticate a real collage ( sold on ebay by a great and respections member from here - I bought it for 30 quids I think ), , he was ready to do it, but.. five years later, i m still waiting.
Not sure, that it's collages could ( galleries and auction house on line if not overestimate some artworks as for the Banksy Lps - what a shame this story ! - etc .. ) be sold more than 70 pounds, maybe a little more.
Keep it when there will be abject exhibition of the sir andmorefameandhype : this street-art world is working like this now : only hype.
Then, finished, you are supposed to wait for " the next big thing" lol.
Most are singed but the cake on the cherry is to get the cardboard coming with Cartrain stenciled
