Well I ordered one within the first minute of the drop and a few days later instead of a shipping notification my order was refunded. I sent 3 very polite emails over the course of a week asking why my order was refunded and he didn't even have the courtesy to reply to any of my messages. Needless to say I won't be buying anything from him ever again. Been a long time fan and was looking forward to this print but have been really put off by this whole thing. So one of those that he "found" is probably from my order.

Thanks man, but I'm not holding my breath. It's been a few days since my last message so I think I'm giving up at this point. I just feel like it's common courtesy or at least decent customer service to let someone know why their order was refunded out of the blue especially if asked. It's not like these were cheap prints either. And the fact that he's selling these "extras" at a hefty markup makes it even worse.

Communication went very smoothly as well, even got offered regular edition of diffence print at cost or a/p for 30ยฃ extra which I thought was nice.

He's one of the graffiti legends, so some respect is due here.
But releasing found prints for a mark up is indeed a bit shady practice.
And adding some extra for an AP is normal, but that should be 350 or 375 (400 at best).
Not 500.
I'm pretty sure this was a some kind of mix up with gmidd.
I have had nothing but good experience with SHOK.

Yeah, unfortunately due to the number of messages I sent requesting a reason for cancelation and the amount of time they had to respond, it doesn't seem to be a mixup. I replied to my cancelation email and also submitted a couple of messages via his website just in case and no response has been received in over a week. It honestly just seems like they don't give a sh!t and quite frankly, I'm over it at this point. To me, if someone is buying a $500 print from you and you decide to cancel the order for whatever reason, a simple explanation is not an unreasonable request.

Nowhere near as many, yet they won't answer you.
File your paypal dispute and get your funds back.
There are many more artists out there you can buy from!

Prints are at a price now that some can't even buy them, so why would you put up with this kind of thing. How many stories have we seen on this site about damaged prints. They take the cheap way out when shipping but charge you full on for the print. Surely after all these years someone can come up with a safe way to ship prints. |

- Amazing print quality
And a courtesy email out of the blue asking if I was happy with my purchase and asking if I needed anything from them.
I did notice that a female was handeling everything and that Shok-1 him self is not involved in this proces anymore.

That was exactly my experience with my purchase. I even got a polite reply when I asked if I could have a pre order. I was told that they wasnโt able to give me one as they wanted to keep it fair for everyone and wished me luck with the drop.

Out of those 146 people they were asked if they wanted to go into a ballot for the remaining 6 prints but at 400 rather than 300. I would consider myself lucky to be able to buy one of these at 400 as they look like stunning prints. Hopefully mine dosn't arrive damaged though. I do have some questions on VAT though as wanted to export it directly to NZ (and didnt want to pay tax twice on the print) and most other artists have been ok with that and done a VAT refund that usually pays for the shipping.

The scratch/indentation or whatever is on the border, the matting may cover most of it I believe. Hopefully it will flatten out in time. |

I guess most stuff I have bought in the past has been from galleries etc so been a lot easier to deal with.
