Wasn't particularly taken with the flies that were recently released but I quite like this. Think it works well in that despite it being an iconic image it lends itself well to be recreated in Shok 1's style and with both the image and style being recognisable from first viewing for me the fusion of the two actually combine together as neither overpowers the other.

Probably my favorite Shok print in a while, but I wish it was either bigger, cheaper or had a smaller run size. Seems like the price is a bit high given the small size and really large run.

I bought in the end...I don't mind having some smaller pieces...prints recently have all been massive!!

I am not an expert but I understand the basics pretty well.
and a halftone would not solve the color to color fading... And I think a halftone would take away the bright color effect.

I reckon it could work. either halftone the 2 colours on 2 layers where they join merging together or pull that bit as one layer with 2 inks and sell them as 1/1 :-)

Definitely a welcome change as his "X-Ray" pieces were novel three years ago but for me have now long lost their appeal. They were more a show of technique than something thought provoking or clever. Quite a fall from his one hit "heart noose" days. His last POW solo went largely unsold. Would love to see him turn things around.

I think it's an amazing looking piece, the rabbit is so well painted, but for me the hands actually let it down a bit, I don't think two aspects to it settle very well.

i agree ! Shock has not the fame that he merits ! He is one of the most amazing street-artist, really better than all these now old millionaires turning around now with their style and prints ..

Excellent. I think his work is amazing and contrary to what others think, his xray art was and still is groundbreaking and amazing considering done freehand. Just bought an artist proof of the Xfly bluebottle!
