Hey Everyone,

I am sure everyone has noticed the BIN Beejoir AP SBFO on ebay and I was wondering what people thought of it? That price seems a little high, what do we actually think it is worth? I have a low # from the run of 125 and I can't imagine its worth much more then the ones that have been going recently. Thoughts?

I think some are really pushing their luck on these BIN beejoirs and mantis prints, being very greedy if you don't think three times purchase price is enough.

I'm gutted, for years we lived without mains electricity and even when we had a generator we still relied on candles for much of our light. If only I'd realised that having blobs of wax on all my possessions made them this valuable then Rodney I'd already be a millionaire.

Despite the fact that I like Beejoir's work I don't think price of these AP's are worth that much more than those from official run of 125.
Just because they have a seal on it??? Yes, I haven't seen any in flesh but I seriously doubt that they can be 3X better.
As for run of original 40 on Iraqi dosh, I agree with RK that those are in different league.
But as always...if you like it...

No offense to Frankie as he's really stepped his game up - but I'm not a big fan of the wax seal at all - think it detracts from the images. Even more so when put at the top of the prints.

Can't find where the image is - but someone on here had their edition of 40 double-sided framed - and it looked unreal!

it was me and it wasn't the edition of 40 it was the edition of 1.... ;D ;D I never get tired of showing off lol

I don't think APs that are exactly the same as the rest of the run are worth more than an extra 20-30% IMO, but it's what others will pay that counts.

I wouldn't pay any extra for an A/P. The print is no different from the original run (except for a wax seal in this case which as someone else said, is on the top when surely it would look better at the bottom.) Now if it was a different colour, that's a different kettle of fish.

What i like is an edition without ap's or pp's. A truely honest limited edition.

i guess the original SoS release was about as close as you'll get to this...as there was no a/p's or p/p's 'cos the amount of dinar sheets were ltd...

Beautiful print but I find it rather amusing that it is labeled "test print" and then is numbered, dated twice, and finally gets the gold seal over the artists sig. Was there a test print for this beautiful "test print".

I agree. Personally I like it less with the wax seal than without. For me wax seal conjures up images of 16th century documents and the magna carta, not cutting edge 21st century art.
