Dran I Love You...up at POW!, by curiousgeorge on Nov 2, 2011 17:18:03 GMT 1, Might be a bit anal with the small amount of pastel work on these but a spacer behind the mat will hide any pastel dust/particles that fall off (and they will).Often just fixing the backing board can create enough movement for the dust to fall and cover the mat

Dran I Love You...up at POW!, by hairbland on Nov 3, 2011 22:27:11 GMT 1, i kinda agree, i like the work and think its fine but for 400 quid i could spend that money on better Art in my opinion at least
I would disagree, but that's what art theory and art criticism are all about, right? To each his own?
I thought the I Have Chalks series more interesting, as it had his figure with a blank wall and "let's see what happens". This series I thought an extension of that, if not a reprise...but artists have to eat also and his price is going up due to popularity...good for him.
I do plan to add the color Learning To Fly to my collection, seems to average about $1,200 these days, and he's captured innocence so perfectly with that.
But today I bought a Marcel Dzama print.

Dran I Love You...up at POW!, by urbancowboy on Nov 4, 2011 14:41:16 GMT 1, Got mine. It's a nice little print, really bright colourful happy piece. Put a bit of brightness in the collection.
Was going to put it on my little boys wall but my Mrs has pointed out that might not be a good idea.
