The follow up was called Three Men on a Bummel. apparently same three charecters on a walking tour around Germany.
Did you also know that J k Jerome drove an ambulance on the Western Front during the First World War

Banksy Book Club Vol. 2, by griffinj1980 on Aug 3, 2007 12:53:45 GMT 1, Yeah these are top threads
My top three best of over the past 12 months are in no particulary order
1) Dispatches by Michael Herr. Docu journalism on Nam written by the bloke who wrote the screenplay for Apocalypse Now. It's as mad and as good as the film
2) Scoop by Evelyn Waugh. A gentle comedy poking great fun at the world of journalism by one of the 20th centuries best writers.
3) The Giro Playboy by Michael Smith. A contemporary beat novel with lots of badly drawn pictures. Ace!

Banksy Book Club Vol. 2, by misteraitch on Aug 3, 2007 13:11:25 GMT 1, Harry Potter - Kids Cover. Boy do I get some funny looks on the metro ;D
Story of Crass by George Berger. Quite an interesting insight into their origins and philosophy
I'm also re-reading Cosmic Trigger Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson. I read this almost every year - due to the fact my short term memory is shot to pieces ;D

Banksy Book Club Vol. 2, by blueandwhite on Aug 6, 2007 16:04:53 GMT 1, I've just finished Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows, now reading Lee Child, Die Trying - Jack Reacher is just the best, tho I have to admit later Lee Childs better - I'm kinda reading em in backwards order and Die Trying is the second one released and is a tad confusing to follow!

Banksy Book Club Vol. 2, by manchestermike on Aug 6, 2007 16:23:47 GMT 1, Johnas - If you like Easton-Ellis read 'Lunar Park' it's his best book by a mile (I'd probably read his others first though as there are some references) Just finished Stephen King - Lisey's Story. I used to read a lot of King when in my teens but haven't for a while. It was a choice between this or a Harry Potter book at Budapest airport so no contest really. It's not bad either, it's no 'The Stand' but is entertaining. I'm currently reading two books, 'Rant' by Chuck Palahunik (I always spell that wrong) - the dude who wrote 'Fight Club' (which is his worst book by a way!) and it is very good. I'm also reading Derren Brown's 'Tricks of the Mind' which is really fantastic. Massively interesting and he's one hilarious guy too.
