I've bought a set to put aside until the lad is a little older. Maybe next Christmas.

The latest Ame72 pieces in the UK are just up the road from me in Carlisle. By some weird serendipity having helped find the walls for him to paint them on, one of the pieces was of a character who shares a name with my boy. Safe to say, he's enjoyed meeting his namesake and is now a big fan.

My mate has a gallery in Carlisle and sells a lot of Ame72s work. My lad loves it when we visit but as nice as some of the originals are, they're not for me. Can't go wrong with this deal though.

The gallery is a place called Landmark Street Art, on Crosby St. Not been there too long but exhibited at Moniker as a 'Young Gallery', so obviously doing something right.

The fact that he's not long painted a mural on the walls of the film studio where the Lego movies are made would suggest his work is not entirely unofficial.

In Jerusalem for the night after a great stay at The Banksy Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem (a must see for those who have not yet been). 
Headed to Tel Aviv tomorrow for a night before flying back to the states.
Wondering if anyone has actual locations of the Ame72 pieces, or other works not to be missed.
I am also aware there a few graffiti heavy areas.
If I have time to only hit one, where will I get the most bang for my buck?

The Maze is exhibit is still running, at present it is located at Elma Arts Complex & Hotel in Zichron Yaakov, around an hour north of Tel Aviv.

If in the area, absolutely go see his Maze exhibit about an hour north.

Very Cool. Yes I heard the story and frustration of the first Maze Blowing away. I have only 2 prints from James which I porched off his site within the last year. Plan to acquire more...

Yeah but am I correct in saying that Ame lives there (not sure where I got that from) ...if that is the case it would make sense for Banksy to send the stencil/idea for it to him to put up the artwork.

Didn't Ame72 do a piece in Port Talbot around the same time as Banksy's piece?....

There all mates so they probably execute pieces for him from time to time maybe (or maybe not)

Yeah I'm more with you that he may help him out as he lives in Tel Aviv I think.

Wasn't the "Peace On Earth" around the same time as the Alternativity and a couple of other pieces went up?

The stencil was fake and didn't match the actual image. He already released this image as a print at that time as a bit of a pisstake.

Just spotted this, I didn't realise the image was different to the stencil but I have only looked at it after the fact as such.

There's a thread on it somewhere. Also around that time a video of 'Banksy' taken by a tourist was picked up by newspapers, that turned out to be a video of Ame and looked like a total setup.

Yeah I'm sure they do all sorts to throw people off.
