Copyright 'Exhibit A', by jboy on May 26, 2007 1:59:29 GMT 1, What would you do...
Bought this gorgeous original signed copyright piece last week from the opus underground (thanks guys your amazing)
Want to keep it but my credit card bill came through today and they have stung me a bit and have to pay some back. I have an Arofish blue and still the 9/9 D*face saddo to hand still unframed but love them both as well. One has to go and i think it may have to be the copyright as at the moment my housemate saw it and does not agree with me putting it up the moron. Im gutted as its a great piece.
Apologies to you copright as well as i know you frequent these boards. Ignore my housemate, they have no idea about this sort of stuff.
suggestions??
P.S Disposing of the housemate is not an option!
PM me with offers (or words of support)
Damn.

Copyright 'Exhibit A', by jboy on May 27, 2007 17:17:58 GMT 1, This is still available before i put it onto ebay by the way people, which i don't really want to do. I will accept a good offer for it, im not expecting a small fortune for it.
I have had a few offers but these were all for cost, which is fine but i do have to cover my bill and not just pay it back! Be fair!
pm or post a bid if you are interested.
Enjoy the crappy weather this bank holiday everyone! Typical...

Liking art that contains butterflies, flowers or even an amount of pink doesn't mean you're gay, grow up and get out of the childish playground mentality.

Making forum members compete against each other to 'win' the piece of art they failed to obtain because you bagged it last week is not really on. This is a Banksy forum after all, its not the bleeding stock exchange.

But can anyone enlighten me as to what is the point of that piece ? an A, a buttrerfly, some colour wash and a massive tag.. all seems "pretty" meaningless

Copyright 'Exhibit A', by jboy on May 27, 2007 19:53:36 GMT 1, Ive bought 10 pieces in the past 2 months and this is the only one that i want to sell. How is that bagging? This includes the 9/9 saddo i needed to sell, but decided to keep and is now framed as i could not part with it.
Just because im a forum member it does not mean i have to sell things at cost price. Sell me one of your banksy prints at cost price then and we will call it quits yeah.
Did'nt think so.

It was part of a set with different letters.
And have you never been to a museum - they often call things exhibits.

i had a bid of £350, but the person in question bought a pop tart instead and could not afford it in the end, so now i will accept an offer between £250 and £300 if you want me to be honest finsburyparkranger

Copyright 'Exhibit A', by corblimeylimey on May 27, 2007 20:08:05 GMT 1, I think a fair price would be what you paid for it inc postage (£150) plus postage to the buyer plus 5% to cover your paypal fees. What kind of profit are you after? it'll cost you to put it on ebay (possibly £10) add the above costs (about £15) and you're gonna need around £175 going down that route to break even.
What if in the meantime Copyright creates a few more pieces for £150 delivered? If I were you I'd take £160 + £5 postage now from a forum member, that way you don't lose a penny and get quick cash.

Its all very well saying that - but maybe if someone put it into action i would accept, you don't know unless you try...

Copyright 'Exhibit A', by corblimeylimey on May 27, 2007 20:14:21 GMT 1, If anyones thinking of paying anywhere near £250 I'd think again and get in touch with Copyright direct and ask if he can knock up something similar, I bet he will and he'll most likely charge £150 inc delivery
Contact him via PM on this forum or check with Opusunderground or email him via his own site...

Fair enough (almost wrote Fairy nuff, but thought that might not go down too well)
Jus messin.. but i'd go with CB's advice and just sell for cost plus your expenses etc. People are not exactly queuing up to pay over the odd's for copyright's work at the mo. Different for Banksy, Micallef etc etc..
Good luck anyway. Maybe offer it back to copyright, I'm sure there were others who wanted it and missed out..
