Appeal for Witnesses - April 8th - Redchurch St, by ginx on Apr 13, 2010 21:55:38 GMT 1, Gosh just seen this!! I hope the police sort it out soon and that the people injured have a speedy recovery.
I spoke to one of the injured parties and things are not looking good. The scans are showing lots of problems. It looks like two people will end up with metal plates in their head. Also no one has been emailed to come forward from the gallery database yet as the gallery and promotors are now waiting to take instructions from the investigating officer who has been un available since Friday night and police colleagues admit he had another 12 serious cases to deal with (including murder and kidnap) and is really stretched and the nhs has been a nightmare experience for one of the injured parties. Personally the fact that almost everyone involved could have been directly emailed to submit evidence and no one has - almost a week after the event is appauling. The whole handling of the case is a shambles. Even this thread can't be evaluated for dammage to a pending court case because no one is available to assist. I'm so frustrated I can't tell you.
If any legal eagles could consider the benifit to the greater good in shelving this thread and creating a locked sticky one with just details of where to present any evidence please shout out.

Appeal for Witnesses - April 8th - Redchurch St, by monkeyart on Apr 13, 2010 22:01:18 GMT 1, Steady on there silks, but from what I can tell there on your sponsor list? Sorry if I'm wrong but very early on in the thread you seemed no remorse to what had happened. It just came across as odd? If I'm way out then I apologise!

What a bizarre thing to say
Really truly! some people on this thread are damaging the cause that they seem to think the are trying to help. By your point, do you not think out of anyone, I would be the one doing what I think is best in helping this situation? But all I get is this bull shit! Really some of you could do with sitting back and thinking a bit before you post.

Appeal for Witnesses - April 8th - Redchurch St, by monkeyart on Apr 13, 2010 22:29:01 GMT 1, I really don't want to damage this cause, of course not why would I? I just question your diplomacy as when this was mentioned all you seemed concerned with was the gallery? And kept switching to the art, but people are more important! I'll stop this as I agree its not helping but more to the point are you!

Appeal for Witnesses - April 8th - Redchurch St, by Daniel Silk on Apr 13, 2010 22:30:14 GMT 1, I'm disgusted by some of the people involved on this thread I really am. They don't actually seem to give a shit about solving this and catching the people, its all about chucking shit at people, without knowing a single thing about what they are talking about.
Unbelievable!
I'm out! I'm not having anything to do with it, coz no matter what you do it wrong. The end

Appeal for Witnesses - April 8th - Redchurch St, by hero on Apr 13, 2010 22:45:47 GMT 1, It must be over 99% of people who visit this forum were not even there! so sticky would be pointless.
yep, completely right, but that 1% would probably be enough to give a detailed view of events that night and could lead to the case actually going to court
if you're not comfortable doing that, then maybe sending out a direct email to your members would be better - but i think you should do something as you have a position of power right now...

Your correct And putting a piece in the forum newsletter tomorrow was exactly what I have been planning to do from within minutes of the event happening.

I wasn't going to add to all the speculation as I was not there, and knew nothing about it. Better to wait and see what the truth is before jumping the gun. I knew what I could do to help and thats what I am doing thanks!

Fair enough. a sympathetic word for the victims early on in the thread wouldn't have gone amiss though...
Glad to hear you're going to include it in your forum email .
