Artists You Might Not Know, by billlovesart on Jan 9, 2021 0:29:09 GMT 1, Two artists that I've bought from this year who I've not seen mentioned much, if at all, on here are 'Le-Mon' and 'Pete Street'. The stuff produced is not only decent but cheap to buy and great customer service. So if you fancy something different, quirky and totally affordable then I'd definitely recommend checking these guys out. Cheers Kenny
Just found Le Mon on eBay absolutely loved his stuff got a couple of prints and eventually found his Instagram page. As you say really great customer service proper friendly and great quality art!!! 👍👍👍

Artists You Might Not Know, by cadonke0 on Jan 9, 2021 13:18:58 GMT 1, billlovesart - Totally agree. And because Le-Mon's prints are always small (A4) they're easy to collect/display. I hope he/she decides to go into the bigger size prints eventually however (A3 etc). Think that would really get the interest going. Do you have a link to Le-Mon's Instagram at all? I tried finding them but with no luck.
Cheers fella 😊👍

William Berni is an artist that I love. Some amazing photo realistic paintings of mountains and such but also some great other series of works, such as his concrete works.

Le Mon stuff is now selling out in minutes.
Part of that is the limited numbers they put up for sale, but certainly seems like demand is there at the moment.

Really like the spray can and the 'black square' ones.
I've got a Boris Johnson Nazi one, which isn't my favourite tbh!

Artists You Might Not Know, by cadonke0 on Feb 2, 2021 13:31:27 GMT 1, Onket / snaffs - if you also search/save the following user on eBay you'll get all his stuff (until it eventually moves over to the 'Market' on his website: postraphaelitegallery. 👍 And keep your eyes peeled. I just bought one of his one-off pieces, something he admits he totally hates, for only 1p, lol.
And like yourself, the Pete Street 'Can' print is brilliant. Quality is honestly second to none. I'm just amazed this guy's stuff is so cheap and readily available. I've got my eye on another print of his actually (Flag one). Will buy this on payday I think.
Cheers

Artists You Might Not Know, by ravnur2020 on Feb 5, 2021 23:31:14 GMT 1, Maybe (quite) a few of the forum members already know Rio de Janeiro street artist and muralist Toz, but I have not seen his work mentioned here. When you travel around Rio you cannot avoid seeing a lot of his work. Most of his work is colorful (although the subject matter might be less lighthearted) and features the characters Nina, Shimu and BB in various ways.
Search Toz Rio de Janeiro and a ton of his work comes up. Apart from all the street pieces a few works are available through his site (and his gallery rep). I must admit I love the dark Insomnia series.
I had the pleasure to meet Toz a few years back in his studio and he is a very friendly and interesting when he talks about his art.
Unfortunately getting art shipped from Brazil can sometimes be a nightmare

Artists You Might Not Know, by ecudat on Mar 26, 2021 10:08:53 GMT 1, Found an artist in the UK doing some cool stuff on various banknotes. Sells mostly originals (mostly just 1 or a few versions), although he also has a few prints now.
Insta: artbytboy
I picked up this from him recently and going to give it to my dad for his birthday and fathers day (fortunately a week apart at the start of June!)
It's made from 4 original £1 notes and 30 layers of spray can. This is actually the AP, onto notes from 1969. The 2 of the actual edition that were previously sold were similar but not on notes from the "right" year of the Abbey Road photo.

They are great for the price aren’t they. I bought a couple of the car/building paper paintings to go with the small house canvas I bought. Still tempted to go back for one of the canvases
