gent Γacardi on Feb 13, 2007 19:28:35 GMT 1, The Mona is pretty cool, it's just a s**tty litho hand modded by a geezer on your side of the pond. cheap as well (well, in comparison to what else is around here). I'll put you in touch if you want to pick one up. I love it, sure it's not the most high quality print I have but it is one that most people really enjoy. Make sit worth plenty to me.
He used to do it on canvases. I got mine in late 2005 (if I remember correctly) and it's been hanging proudly on my wall ever since
gbh: I wish he could have done a better job with the stripes on her left arm in your litho... looks a bit strange. No offense mate, just an observation

Show everyone your latest Art Purchase?, by lesroy on Feb 15, 2007 0:18:15 GMT 1, Hey guys 'n' girlz.... just got back from holiday and im well chuffed to see soo many people have put up the pics of their price posesions! Some awesome collections and some stunning framing jobs!
GBH... man your Grannies looks fantastic.... I really like the heavy dark border with that little white score mark running through it!
And the Golf Sale with the black mount and the white border is very funky and really looks great to my eyes!! Top marques geez!
Bacardi... thats the best framed RAT I have ever seen... I have always thought that a tiny amount of the images colour in the mount works wonders at highlighting itself. Amazing job mate!
Man I get soo enthuised looking at the way people choose to frame their prints... it can really turn a average print into a must have!!

Thanks lesroy!! ;D The Placard Rat was a bit smaller than all the other 'normal' Banksy prints, so I could afford to get a little more creative with the mounts!
And welcome back from your vacation! I was wondering where you were!

Show everyone your latest Art Purchase?, by umajets on Feb 17, 2007 15:51:51 GMT 1, Don't know if any of you guys are into comics/cartoons, but I've got a few framed and up on the walls, so thought I'd share something different.
Above is a Robert Crumb print. Only 45 dollars - absolute bargain for a beautiful print. You can order/see it here www.crumbproducts.com/prints_images/sha.gif www.crumbproducts.com/prints.html
Above is a print by Kazu Kibuishi of his 'Copper' comic. www.boltcity.com/copper/
You can order his prints from the Nucleus gallery for 20 dollars gallerynucleus.com/
Above is a Mike Williams print. His work can be seen at www.mikewilliamscartoons.co.uk/ He's currently got an exhibition at the British Cartoon Museum www.cartooncentre.com/
If you're not into cartoons, feel free to ignore everything I've posted! ;D
Cheers! Umajets

Show everyone your latest Art Purchase?, by corblimeylimey on Feb 17, 2007 18:31:42 GMT 1, Got a bit lucky with the AP, Black Rat Press originally sent me number 105 but it wasn't signed, they don't seem to work like POW so there wasn't another signed that could be numbered the same.
I was offered a much higher number or I'd have to wait ages for Blek to come back to England and sign 105, I asked if there was any lower numbers at all and that's when I was offered an AP (only 10 AP's) as the whole thing was their fault.
I must say after the initial disappointment, I'm very pleased with the service from Black Rat Press. I understand this sort of thing happens to POW and the rest, prints sent out unsigned or unnumbered.

Show everyone your latest Art Purchase?, by slowmo on Feb 18, 2007 14:03:38 GMT 1, Took some photos last night of the prints on the walls I have. Tried to get some in the perspective of the room rather than just the image
Grannies, really pleased with Grannies, thanks to Havana07 for the swap.
Normally have barcode up here, but fancied a change. This print started it all for me
A very normal view from home!!!! Addicted to this site
Got more, may post them sporadically, have a couple at the framers I will be keen to post up, JD and Apocolypse Wow by Dan Baldwin, but will be March till I get those two back

Show everyone your latest Art Purchase?, by saltandiron on Feb 20, 2007 18:20:26 GMT 1, does anyone else like this thread cos they get to see how people decorate their houses as well as the banksys? Would never have thought that that green would work but I quite like it.
sorry, appear to have gone a bit 'changing rooms' on you guys.
