He definitely had a very unique, and dark, style. Saw his retrospective at SFMOMA about 5 years ago - really cool. Hadn't heard of him until then. |

I would only purchase from reputable art galleries. I currently belong to westbank art gallery myself, so the temptation is always real when I check out the other artists work available haha I just couldnโt refuse.

Mammy, was to me the stand out piece in the whole display. It's taken a few years to secure one, courtesy of a a gallery in the US. Unfortunately my photography skills do not capture the magnificence of the piece (which includes diamond dust on 'Mammys' lips)

It seems I'm just not as impressionable as I used to be! Finally picked this up a couple of days ago. I'm very pleased with the result. The shimmering of the gold leaf when you move around the room and the light hits the piece at different angles is captivating.
