This is a new piece from GLEO (Colombia). We commissioned a piece sometime before COVID hit and then it went though a couple of iterations before the final rendition. She sent the the journey it took which made it even more fun.

Here is a new piece from Alex Senna (Brazil). My brother and I each bought a piece. I am only putting mine up. Alex has been producing some amazing this is mostly done with spray paint on canvas.

My latest additions. First up, an absolutely wonderful commissioned piece by Jameson Robinson (jamo). Grey Penguin book covers were reserved for books about world affairs and this was a subtle nod to my initial employment background. It has surpassed all my expectations and is absolutely charming. The painted brick detailing, colours, drips and details make every look rewarding. So so pleased with it and think I may have to source a perspex box for but also currently enjoying the tactile nature of it as a piece too. 









I really do love Jameson’s art and he is always so incredibly charming and wonderful to deal with. He even (extremely generously) included an extra goodie for me, very aptly titled ‘The Prisoner’. It’s fantastic too. 






Today also brought me my Pez (Pierre-Yves Riveau) pieces. I’ve long been a big big fan of Pez. In fact one of my first posts here was anIn Search OfPez post. Such an incredibly talented artist and my appreciation has only grown on seeing a print in person. Hopefully I can add some others in time - Hope Scotch being a Pez grail piece for me. 





I cannot wait to get this one framed up and will share more/better pictures when I have. 

I also couldn’t resist buying ‘Danger’ (which I think is one of his best pieces from the recent Paris show). It would make an incredible full size print but hats off to Pez and Graffiti Prints for creating these. The quality is as good as you’d expect and I think I’m going to have to go for ‘Hiroshima’ too before they are removed. Also, these have quite wonderful miniature COAs. They’re quite brilliant. 








So...the framing queue isn’t getting any shorter and just as well I’ve got two pieces going down to MFM next week. My wallet is less happy about that than my walls are.

I also purchased some penguins from Jameson Robinson. It makes collecting art so much more enjoyable when you can buy from artists that produce beautiful art and are delightful to deal with!

It’s very similar to The Passage of time
It measures 33x33 cm
The picture does not do it any justice as they also used glitter lines in there that the camera did not pick up. Also, what prints miss out on is the physicality of the lines, you can see the beginning and end of the lines.
They were polite and friendly to work with. No regrets whatsoever. Really a lovely piece, couldn’t have done it any better...

Nice - I presume from the placing of signature and number that its supposed to be displayed landscape rather than portrait??

I did wonder that too but I think it’ll look better framed in Portrait. 

I found these photos on Flickr of the graffiti piece which I assume inspired the print which show the head in portrait
