Yeah, it was one of the edition of 50 signed sheets. I sold it when i needed a deposit for a new car and got 1k for it just before the prices rocketted.

The other 2 i'd got because i'd seen examples all over bristol and haved his work. I'd wanted a BME that they had in the shop but it was £75 i think compared to these being £45...i used to pass the shop every day and they had the rude copper and have a nice day too. None of them were ever signed though - where did people get their signed ones from back in the day? did pow have a website from the very beginning?

what was the signed edition 100? big estimate £5-£7k plus fees

pretty sure they dont know exactly how many were signed. but its thought that 50 or less of the 500 were signed randomly throughout the edition

i have always heard 50 - 100 were signed, this one at auction is numbered 170 / 500 - which i find a bit odd - although authenticated by pest control. hmm - it'll be interesting to see what it goes for, but I dont think 5k is too far off

I know the numbering on signed prints were very random with the early prints, and signed prints were not the first hundred or so. my unsigned is a low 2 digit number.

I personally wouldnt touch it. The vast majority of prints are not framed with mylar strips or corners and I dont even want a framed print with archival linen tape. If it was unframed and the condition was known it would sell much better, IMO.

Most prints are framed that appear in auction, would not worry me too much.
I would obviously inspect the print before the auction.

Mine is unframed, stored flat in acid free portfolio and in mint condition

I got no idea what you guys are talking about but the last sold for £1700. Seller pocketed about £1600. And it was up on the bay for a long time before someone took the bait.

average price on EB $3,868.16 = £2,597.15

1 has sold in the last 6 months for £1700, 2 weeks before Christmas! not a real indicator of price IMO

No matter what way you look at the Dollar v Pound, highest or the lowest exchange rate, £1.8 k is below average price.
