And actually I disagree. There are plenty of artists with their own unique style, you people are unfair with the scene!

Just to be clear... the Amy prints were produced in April for his for his stolenspace solo show in March.
Why the concern... it's not unusual for people to buy work associated with a recently deceased artist and I honestly believe that Al put the work there out of respect to Amy.
The rest is down to public interest.

Mysterious Al π¬π§ New Print Release β’ Street Art, by tobaum on Jul 29, 2011 9:39:09 GMT 1, I don't get it. Why so much hate regarding this print? It looks very Mysterious Al to me and a great subject King Kong... why is this one worst than the previous released? I don't like Mysterious Al style but I thought you people would be interested in this release. I'm surprised.

I lose all interest in people who allegedly follow this scene and don't know when prints were actually released. What you think Al went to Camden and planted one of this prints to make an impropmtu shrine ;D

Mysterious Al π¬π§ New Print Release β’ Street Art, by Sliding on the Walls on Jul 29, 2011 10:42:18 GMT 1, ... and to be fair to Al, Maybe it's not him who I have a problem with but the likes of the people at quirksville.tumblr.com/ etc.. who promoted his prints so soon after the death of Amy Winehouse.
For somebody like myself who doesn't follow this artist with much intent, such promotion can easily give the wrong impression.

This sums things up very well....it's not the image (I actually really like the Amy Winehouse piece), it's the promotion and the timing that's so regrettable here - whoever was behind it.
