It would be 1 artist that rather paint than sue versus the powerful Keith Haring Estate.

On legal basis this doesn't look to complicated.
On the expertise field, it will represents a lot of work. For sure. But it's not the lawyer job.
And maybe it will be possible to find an amicable settlement.
The point is not to be greedy, just having recognition for the work done, imo it is not to much to ask.

My opinion would be keith haring never touched that piece of wood. The man looks off.. the LA 2 tag is all over it, KH didnt really work in spray paint, etc, Maybe it was done in KH's studio - or with KH - but to me that's a LA2 being sold as a KH for $156,000. Doesnt take long to find other auction sales that are similar. Funny that someone says " I bought a Keith Haring for $156,000" .. but it says LA 2 all over it. ha ha.

Imitate Modern is a great source (the official source???) for Stik but they do have some strange pricing ideas. Obviously galleries have to and should chnarge more than private sales (overheads, wages etc...) but they are charging almost 3X what Stik prints change hands for in a private sale....very nice people who work there but....
