Banksy • Napalm Print, by Dungle on Mar 22, 2015 17:45:24 GMT 1, I find it mental that anyone would drop that sort of money on ebay Why? you are basically 100% covered through PayPal buyer protection. PayPal actually protects a buyer almost more than the seller i have found with the research I have done with PayPal. I have dug into this and have asked a lot of questions of PayPal over the past couple months so I feel confident in stating that.
Just that I would only spend that much if I was seeing the goods first and probably meeting the person face to face.

Banksy • Napalm Print, by wishingiwaslucky on Mar 22, 2015 22:43:20 GMT 1, I went to the link, and asked the guy some basic questions, asked if he could give me the print number and if he was the current owner so that I could check it out with PC. His English isn't great, but refused and accused me of not being a serious buyer. I stated that I just wanted to check with PC to which he turned funny, saying the COA WAS IN HIS NAME, BUT HEONLY OWNED IT 2 weeks. Stop wasting his time. I asked once more, just the print number and he just sent back 'edition of 150'
Nothing since. Been bid up by his 0 score accounts too by the look of it. Suspicious

Suspicious To be fair, most forum members use subpar English. I want to vomit at the number of times I've seen "would of" typed instead of "would have." That said, it is a blatant red flag to back out of any transaction if the seller claims to be from an English speaking country and makes mistakes in spelling and punctuation. I've noticed from the thread involving Metropolis Art that Ashbeck claims his name is "Mark" and that he's from the UK. For his sake, I certainly hope that Mark is short for a longer Greek forename because he certainly isn't a native speaker.

Banksy • Napalm Print, by .dappy on Mar 23, 2015 1:14:38 GMT 1, Those pictures for the Napalm are also being used on Alibaba. Someone posted it in another thread. Being sold by Mr bab josh (UK)
Description: Framed professionally at a cost of £250 with a really nice frame, museum glass, with acid free matting and looks gorgeous in person. Item can be shipped with the frame or be removed and put in a tube, with a box around it to give it extra protection and I will leave that up to the buyer's request. I will ship with priority mail and insurance/tracking for the amount of the sale. Thanks for looking
(ebay listing by k.n taken down)

Why? you are basically 100% covered through PayPal buyer protection. PayPal actually protects a buyer almost more than the seller i have found with the research I have done with PayPal. I have dug into this and have asked a lot of questions of PayPal over the past couple months so I feel confident in stating that. This is actually not true. As long as the transaction is between 2 registered PayPal accounts and as long as the transaction is for GOODS and as long as the payment is made all in one transaction and not like a deposit and then the rest is paid at a later date there is no limit to the value of PayPal protection. I just called and verified this because you had me curious.

I just got off the phone with eBay. They confirmed the same thing. No limit to buyer protection. They told me "For example you could buy a $50,000 item and you would still be protected".
So I now have PayPal and eBay telling me the same thing. No limit.
Maybe be you want to call PayPal and ask again?

from there terms and conditions here
www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Marketing/popup/UAeBay-outside
Items purchased off eBay:
"If PayPal finds in your favor on your claim, PayPal will reimburse you for the full purchase price of the item and original shipping costs – with no cap on coverage"
No mention of limits regarding ebay purchases, but if theres no limit on off ebay purchases there wouldn't be on ebay. But i guess there wouldn't be any as they own that.

Banksy • Napalm Print, by carbonfiend on Aug 30, 2018 14:57:45 GMT 1, Hi change of heart from listing a different Banksy for sale after discussions with wife. This near mint signed Napalm is for now sale. The story that accompanies this is; it’s numbered as an unsigned print & was purchased as such by myself the original owner. It arrived with a signature on it which in later years I went to POW for COA they confirmed is a genuine signature by Banksy & thus issued me with COA verifying its as a signed print. It is unframed though it has been framed in its lifetime. It has a very small crease near the bottom left hand side (see pic). Based in U.K. south east. Any questions pls DM.

Banksy • Napalm Print, by carbonfiend on Aug 30, 2018 18:30:56 GMT 1, Sorry I have promised somebody (reputable & reliable) that I will pursue a specific route with them regards this print so it would be unfair & unreasonable of me to start quoting prices. I hope I don’t sound like I’m wasting anybody’s or the forums time as this print is defiantly FS and if this avenue comes to nothing I will repost etc for all interested. thnx for patience H.
