I think the best thing to do is call the number on the invite (the first pst on the thread) and tell them that yo want to come, Im sure it will be as easy as ABC!

Any feedback??? I couldn't make the show, as I've been editing the preview video... The general idea is that we hardly get a chance to hear about the artists influences or motivation for each show.

The video will be made available through Auction Saboteur, but I'll ask some peeps for some feedback, which will be included alongside comments from Peter Kennard.

It's up, and waiting for his approval.

Ok. So I saw no one from this forum! we really need a secret sign! I spoke to a few people who I thought were from the forum and they looked at me blank when I mentioned it.

I would say that the show is well worth a visit. It is staggering how on the pulse peter has been for tens of year. simply staggering.

I have just got back from Peter Kennard's show at the Pump House Battersea Park.
After tottering around in the dark I finally found the place which is a Superb Venue.

Peters Exhibition is well worth a visit.

I found it interesting to see the work he has done over the past few decades and
most importantly was really interested to see how he has influenced some of the artists we all follow today.
I urge you all to go and see for yourselves.
There is nothing for sale but I think it is worth it to see what this man has been doing for the past 30/35 yrs and
to see how he has influenced some of my favorite artists today.

I had a great chat with the man himself, we spoke about his work, the work he had done in Bethlehem,
he even remembers me from the opening night which was really nice and flattering.
OK so I stumbled around in the dark walking around the lake to the Pump House, thank goodness, my other half was with me.
I am a North London Gal and OK South London was a foreign land for me but was well worth the effort.
I do urge you all to seek out the place maybe in the light of day and look at his work.
One piece stuck out in my mind and that was his graphics for a Very Sensitive subject which he had done so well which was
for the Holocaust Exhibition the image just blew me away...so well done... I have a great deal of respect for the man.

Rat I told him you had bought his Tower he was really really happy.

Sorry but I took no photos I was too busy looking at Peters work and speaking to the man himself.

Nice to run into you in the dark Carl. Sorry it was a bit brief but I didn't want to find the doors shut when we got there!

A really interesting exhibition... a history of the last three decades of protest really. It was good to see all the hand-assembled collages. These things are done so easily in photoshop these days, but you can't beat a prit-stick!

I managed to go last night all the way from Bristol so Londoners should def go! Is a bit of a trek getting there and heard some 'interesting' noises shall we say coming from the bushes but it was well worth it! Even my boyfriend liked it and he normally gets bored at these sort of things.

Really interesting to hear him talk about the work. I could relate to the more recent stuff more, purely because I'm not old enough to fully appreciate the politics of the 70s and early 80s as i was a mere toddler who's main concern was that bambi died.

Was interesting to hear the debate they had with Gee and also to learn more about their techniques, espec with the scanner.

always think it strange that whilst people dive in to buy almost anything and everything these days, Kennard's 'Haywain...' still remains unsold-out at BRP?
