Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by Dexter Bulldog on Jan 10, 2021 2:11:08 GMT 1, I think same gallery sold a gold cyw for £295 maybe. It was listed a few weeks ago and is gone (although doesn’t say “sold out” like the others).

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by JFCC on Jan 10, 2021 10:52:45 GMT 1, £595k for a Love Hurts.....😬 That looks like good value in the market today, one of 16 A/P's? One has never been in auction and if it did I personally would think it would get more than that?

Just because this grey is listed at 120k doesn’t mean it’s actually WORTH that. Hasn’t sold for a few weeks now anyway

Agree
I think Choose Your Weapon has huge significance.
To me one of the seminal images of street art, and the perfect portait of the street artist - part vandal / part artist - taking the art (haring dog) out in the street - influenced by the previous generation of great urban artists, but also asserting his dominance over them
The multiple colorways also make them look like smaller editions I guess which can help in auctions

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by Lunch Special on Feb 23, 2021 19:49:57 GMT 1, Can anyone confirm the following measurements for this print: Print measures 60x60 cm with margins of 70x70 cm, right? Also; I believe it is a woven paper, but does anyone know exactly what type of paper it is and who the paper maker is please? Thanks! Uneasy answering without knowing for what purposes you require this information?
Sounds like an East Country Prince in the making.

Thanks in advance.

Easier to believer that, than to pretend he owns one in 2013 knowing he's going to come back in 2021 and ask questions just so he can fake a print.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by singyart on Mar 21, 2021 14:34:33 GMT 1, Noticed at the Sotheby’s auction on 18th March, the prices of the 2 ‘Choose your weapon’ prints were much higher than usual and did better than other prints, they sold for £324,000 for the edition of 25 and £216,000 for the queue jumping grey edition of 58.
Wonder if this is a sign that this print is in high demand and prices will continue to increase in 2021?

Even the unsigned girl with red ballon sold much cheaper.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by singyart on Mar 21, 2021 16:14:38 GMT 1, At this rate if the prices continue rising, I wouldn’t be surprised to see ‘Choose your Weapon edition 25’ and other more desirable prints easily reaching well over £500k by the end of next year. I’ve noticed more and more investment companies investing in banksy prints for their clients.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by singyart on Mar 21, 2021 18:41:55 GMT 1, I would never have noticed that personnally. I do a bit of reading on various investment websites each day so I had noticed a few stories over the past few months. As Banksy artwork is classed as blue chip art, more and more companies will invest in his prints and originals due to the constant increase in prices giving better returns than stocks. Especially as his art gets more and more expensive for individual art lovers and investors to afford to buy a whole print. There’s also the new nft crypto technology which will allow companies to buy art and then allow individual investors to buy a share or part of a piece of artwork.
