Well, at least it was attempted.

On a side note...

The intention was to donate all proceeds to charity but this was also brick walled. This would have raised around £1500 for the charity below. ho hum.

We would like to make one wish and that is anyone downloading the 15 images makes a voluntary donation to our Christmas Charity of Choice. Donations to Poplar Farm Rescue Kennels, who are a 'no kill' dogs home based in the UK, can be made on the following link. Anything from a few pounds or dollars will be a huge support to them

What a great charity to support....these no kill shelters deserve any bit of change we can spare. Nice work in highlighting it.

Nice to see people promoting and donating to an animal shelter here. That pic of the cat flying through the air is still killing me. Call it art or what ever you want. that does not justify it.

Just want to say on the no kill shelter, no kill is a noble goal but not always the wisest way to go. With limited resources it isn't always in the best interest of the animals to keep them alive when there are health issues, and all the other things that come with animal shelters. Where I live in Toronto there were bad things going down at the no kill shelter. Animals were neglected and died slowly and painfully. This is not uncommon.

This is coming from an animal loving vegan who does not even wear wool because of the poor treatment the sheep get.

I do admire the thought and intent but I would suggest they might reconsider the policy. There are too many animals suffering and not enough money to help them all. It is the sad truth. So sometimes the shelters need to make the tough decisions.

Just my two cents worth: JBoy, it was an audacious plan, and probably you were going to run into this kind of trouble, but you made a good effort. Besides, if using someone else's imagery to send another message is verboten, then MBW would be out of business. I made this suggestion on another thread, but why not commemorate this whole adventure by doing a print of a McDonald's worker about to receive a flying cat? Kind of sums up the whole thing (although I'm not sure if the fans are the worker or the cat). Anyway, sorry to see it didn't work out.
