I have been looking at some hand colouring on the 'No room at the Holiday Inn' pieces using ink washes and pencil. The three tests completed so far are below...







They are a slight departure from my usual clean style, but I really wanted to get some feeling, mood and texture coming across! Let me know what you think.

I know what you're saying Oliver... I worked on these on New Years Day as a bit of hangover art therapy I wanted them to be bright, brash and in-your-face! I usually try and control everything I put down, these were meant to be a bit looser... maybe too loose. I am doing a few more with different colours and possibly some acrylic.
