Could you offer some background on of this painting, your reasons for creating it?
It would be interesting to learn the concept of the work. Or perhaps its purpose, like an idea or message you wish to get across to viewers.
Given the subject matter, I was also curious about whether you had a connection with or particular interest in China and Chinese politics.

Agent Provocateur π¬π§ Street Art β’ Herrods β’ Stencil Art, by Agent Provocateur on Aug 19, 2015 16:00:40 GMT 1, met I've thought long and hard on the questions you asked, and the simple answers are; I had a big canvas, a warning against dodgy eyebrow plucking emporiums and I'm interested in anything where a small number of people get to tell a large number of people what to do whether it's right or wrong.
And if that's not detailed enough, I did a series of smaller Maos on canvas and paper last year for my show System Failure called 'To Boldly Goβ¦' (example below).

I also cut and daubed a huge one on the gallery wall for the show (image below), and then never used the stencil again.
