Taschen store in London think they will be getting a handful of copies in at some point in the next 2 weeks. They will be £450. You can call to put your name down for one.

They told me that there will be a re print of this in a more affordable format in the future which is what i will be holding out for sod paying 400 quid for a book

lol. i like the way you waited for your similar priced ebay sales to drop off completed listings before posting this. i located one for £300 in the end but thanks for the opportunity.

Taschen is famous for this. The Koons special edition they did a few years back they initially offered at $1000 and then they tried to tell people they'd have to pay $2000 or whatever they raised it to after they ordered it.

Publishers always hold back first edition copies of stuff like this and milk them for high prices. They usually only send a small number of these high priced deals to Amazon as they only make a small profit there.

I still think $500 is too much for this - let alone $1000 but maybe I've underestimated the appeal of Kate Moss. Apparently a much bigger deal in the UK? But I agree with volvic, get the $50 book and use the $500 you saved on something better. Like exotic travel, you only live once. Who cares if a book on your shelf you hardly ever look at is signed or not.

if anyone still wants a copyof this and is willing to pay£450 Harrods still have them, I ordered mine online at waterstones and managed to wrangle an order of £300 before the price went up and got it honoured at Waterstones at Harrods. Having got it, it is a nice book and although difficult to see why its so highly priced it is a verygood record of an icon who is recorded displaying fashion and a moment of our times in a way that Munroe did when alive. This book will be worth a fortune when Kate dies of an overdose or Testino is no longer around to press the button of a camera. It will fetch a lotin auction in years to come, buy as an heirloom

Yeah but there are two for sale for buy it now for £650 so £1000 was a one off I think (but good job to the seller!)
