I will say I'm excited about the release...but I might be more excited for this to move onto page 2 so I can bypass the pictures loading and stop scrolling all the way down.

Saber 🇺🇸 Graffiti Art • Los Angeles • For Sale, by Baurmann Gallery on Dec 3, 2010 11:15:43 GMT 1, There are so many photos because SABER has put that much work into it & Modern Multiples worked so hard to document it beautifully in my opinion. Like I mentioned in the header as well, they are Modern Multiples photos too (which they have not posted yet other than on their Facebook), so I figured a good few would appreciate me taking the time to make sure they were showcased here in addition to just on their Facebook. A link had been posted before, but people still seemed to be wanting to see the pictures. Also, I have no affiliation with this piece in any way, shape or form and don't stand to gain in any way from the sale, so I am proud to be able to take my time (with nothing but the truest of intentions) to showcase an artist's work that has blown me away more than almost any piece I have seen in a long while.
This type of insight into the process is such an amazing thing to be able to be privy to (& I'm very thankful as a fan of SABER's as well that they documented it so well too). This is also about a week's worth of work in the studio in a consecutive post, which combined with how much work SABER put into the process & preparation, equated for a VERY detailed & complicated end result.

Saber 🇺🇸 Graffiti Art • Los Angeles • For Sale, by Baurmann Gallery on Dec 4, 2010 3:11:15 GMT 1, BG, sorry ignore us or at least me I was just having a grumpy morning. I have to admit the work and detail on these pieces look amazing. Thanks for the updates... ;D
No worries...thank you for the response though...I've been slammed myself & noticed the pics had not been posted in terms of the progress & process of the newest Flag (& I wanted to make sure they were shared), so hence why the batch was all posted at once. If I would have posted them over the week's span (which normally I'll always do in regards to my own releases), I'm sure it would have been spread over a few pages, but I also personally like on how they actually tell the complete story of the upcoming release. I would have much rather shared the backlog (which was a ton of pics) versus have them not be shared...so I'm take the heat for slowing down some computers w/ the scrolling
In also trying to even edit them down when posting, there were just to many beautiful shots pretty much showing every nuance of the process/progress, which I just could bring myself to axe out much, as most all of those shots were incredible in my opinion (& very integral to the story and development of the piece).
Modern Multiples did an incredible job of documenting it & the work that SABER has put into has been mind-blowing. Overall, though a TON of pics, I hope people will take time to study the little details in the pics and really try to appreciate the amazing story that they tell (& insight they give us).

Saber 🇺🇸 Graffiti Art • Los Angeles • For Sale, by Baurmann Gallery on Dec 4, 2010 3:37:58 GMT 1, I'm not sure...I never even met the guy, though I was not surprised (in regards to the first hand stories I have heard) that his reputation did not disappoint for those that did have the unfortunate pleasure.
Frankly too, in my personal opinion, I always thought he was bad for the art business in general, so having the LAPD take care of the problem (hopefully) for those he kept screwing over was very welcome news to me.

Saber 🇺🇸 Graffiti Art • Los Angeles • For Sale, by Baurmann Gallery on Dec 4, 2010 3:58:14 GMT 1, im sure he was best of friends with Richard Duardo
If you want an update on Lahoda, contact the LAPD (like I said, I look forward to hearing an update on the case and those who got screwed to get their money back, especially the 8K + USD). Nobody I know has a single thing to do with the guy now nor wants anything to do with him. Also, in my opinion, nobody knew the true and utter "alleged" extent to Lahoda's history until the forums & community relentless worked to bring that information to light and bring serious action in motion (to which I'm very thankful for and impressed by).
SABER worked on a few projects with the guy & unfortunately people always bring it up in relation to the flag...though that relationship was severed LONG ago completely and SABER is doing this one 100% himself, without any outside third party whatsoever.
Further, SABER never was involved in a single thing shady, Richard was never involved with anything shady, they just worked with someone who used their good reputations to his own personal gains.

Do you even know how much I hate that guy on a personal and professional level? I'm very curious where you even get that I have ever had a single bit of association with him, now or ever? It truly pisses me off like no other to hear how badly he has screwed so many people! I just want to make sure the distinction is clear that Richard and SABER have nothing to do with Lahoda's actions though, they just made the unfortunate mistake of working with him, to which they have gotten TONS & TONS shit over I'm sure.
Further, I would never defend a single thing Lahoda did or him in ANY WAY. I am very familiar w/ everything that happened w/ that guy since day 1 and I have been PM'ing SILKY for a VERY long time in relation to it. Like I said, I think he has been absolutely detrimental in regards to lessening trust among publishers and online dealers of art in general through his actions. For as along as I remember (to the Palestine thing like you mentioned), he had been doing as shady stuff as it gets, kept screwing over people & basically kept using other's reputations to mask the shady stuff he was doing, by instead of defending against what people were accusing him of, he would try to convince people that since certain artists would work with him, these accusations must be false, as why would artists of this caliber work with someone that shady.
I'm very glad it is in the hands of the LAPD now!

We are on the same page completely about Lahoda...do you not see that I agree with your sentiments completely?
But in regards to MM & SABER:
Is SABER dumb?
Is Richard Duardo dumb?
Is D-Face dumb?
Is Ron English dumb?
In my opinion, that's really harsh & not cool to make a statement like that. Basically, the past can't be changed. All you can do is go forward and fix those mistakes completely. I just don't think it's fair to blame MM & SABER for Lahoda's actions that had NOTHING to do with them in any way, shape or form.

Saber 🇺🇸 Graffiti Art • Los Angeles • For Sale, by Baurmann Gallery on Dec 4, 2010 4:49:08 GMT 1, FYI, he's a post a wrote on Lahoda (I still have saved on my computer) on one of the other forums that got moderated back when even the discussion of him would get locked or deleted (on certain forums):
Honestly, you need to stop posting under false accounts, you need to stop trying to convince people that there is some great conspiracy against Lahoda and you need to stop trying to change the facts of the matter...it is very well documented in terms of what was done (check the sticky on thegiant.org and the compilation on banksy.info as a few examples) and you are 100% wrong in saying only people (who are actually the same person as you said) are engaging in this grand conspiracy to ruin your business by making false claims (as you say)...I know a lot of the people personally and have tried to still tried to give you the benefit of the doubt at first, but seeing this entire disaster unfold (across all forums), subsequently getting banned from every forum (in addition to past claims of theft on a BMW forum), pissing off numerous people I know personally in the art world, having issues with VERY long term & established contributors and then making fake/false accounts (which have also continued to be banned) to try to hype, defend, and lie about Lahoda has been absolutely atrocious.
It is bad for the art business (in my sincere opinion) to have this deceptive practices continue to go on...luckily though, this is a forum and not a court of law though that may work in a court of law (as in America, you don’t be innocent, just create enough doubt and have a good lawyer), I have confidence that people are not stupid here in the least (and I would never underestimate them, especially when you really piss them off).

Saber 🇺🇸 Graffiti Art • Los Angeles • For Sale, by Baurmann Gallery on Dec 4, 2010 5:57:27 GMT 1, btw too, I have been on these forums since 2006 & have sold work to many people on this board, so I actually am a little confused why I would even have an accusation of an association with Lahoda or even anything shady whatever. If I have done anything to provoke those accusations of an association with Lahoda or anything shady, I am very receptive to hear what it is.
Further, if anyone has a problem, I am not hard to find on these boards or others (or email me @ info@baurmanngallery.com) and I will happily discuss it or address your questions/concerns. If there is a problem or issue that ever arrises, I try to go above and beyond to fix it. I have treated everyone I've ever dealt with fairly and am very appreciative of the support received over the years too. If that ever is not the case, I want to know where & what the mistake was, so I can try to resolve it (& I will definitely work dilligently to fix it if I can).
I do everything under my own name, Baurmann, which means I have nothing to hide & everything to lose if people associate that name with anything shady whatsoever.
