I'm surprised that it sold out so quickly to be honest. I think that is the fastest selling Dolk print yet with a fairly high price for an edition of 250.

Just shows what the hell I know. Seem overpriced to me but can't be when they sell so quickly. I expect another slight increase for the next release until HMP find the correct level.

I was surprised to see the Kitty Riot go so fast! Maybe a little overpriced but I think this will do just like Teddy Riot and keep going up!

I'm not trying to hype it up, obviously it did that itself by selling out within minutes. I was just stating I was surprised that it sold out so fast. If anyone pays over cost they are mental? Your mental for thinking that, probably what you thought during the Teddy Riot too?

Yes you are trying to hype. Youve picked it up and are trying to raise its profile. Its had a poor response since its release. I like Dolk very much and have a few framed 'classic' Dolks. The Teddy Riot has more going for it, its a better image, size of print, cost & size of edition plus i cant stand this Kitty sh*t. People like yourself have thought they could make a similar flip to Teddy Riot. Not going to happen. I could have picked this up for cost. No thanks.

I didn't realise that Teddy Riot was still increasing in cost. I have quite a lot of Dolk prints (including Teddy Riot) and always thought that they went for around cost but not worth buying to flip when you take into account the risk of being slapped with import duty etc.

Any Dolk prints I have bought on the secondary market have been around cost price or cost price plus postage at most.

The other thing I haven't liked about a lot of the more recent Dolk prints is the amount of clean white space around the image. Circus is bad for it as are Police Line and Shrink. It was offset by the colour backgrounds in Teddy Riot, Prison Painter and Boxer but Kitty Riot (because of the placement of the image to the left) looks like it might be bad for it too.

As I said in a previous post I might have been tempted to pair it up with Teddy Riot if it had been the same size but 50x70 vs 65x65 kind of killed it for me.

I seem to remember Zooicide being slaughtered on this forum more than most Dolk prints. My mate bought both Police Line and Shrink but the hand stencilled Ape with an edition of 25 www.studiocromie.org/gallery.php?id_art=139 was available (and still is) from Studiocromie at the same time for roughly the same price as those two prints combined and I opted for that instead.

Don't really sell too many prints (one to date I think) but if I ever decide to sell the Zooicide then you'll be the first to know

Imo it would be stupid to try and flip either of these two new Dolks. So many shipping problems with Prison Painter. As I mentioned earlier I am still waiting on my third replacement. I just want to get the damn thing up on my walls!

However, HMP has been extremely helpful in working with me and replacing the prints. It's just a slow process. I understand that.

I had a similar problem with the Last Mona many moons ago but HMP were great about sorting it out. The tubes are often quite short and don't allow a lot of leeway if the print is a bit bigger. Maybe that is one of the reasons behind a return to traditional sized 50x70 prints.

@ stanley. You seem to have a bit of an attitude problem. If you are so concerned about this print then maybe you should have bought it. How about you go offload your anger somewhere else because I am happy with my print whether it's going to make money or not. Thankyou

Stanley, your post really is rather lame and well it just makes you look like a TOOL that has no experience dealing with Dolk prints or any prints for that matter that cost more then say Obey crap....$305 is a fair amount for this print and if you were to sell it on the ebay lets say it would definately go for more then you paid for it evrytime......

On receipt i knew i wasnt going to frame it so it went. Like i said ive got enough framed dolksand if anyone pays over cost they are mental in the face.

nathzz, no attitude problem. Just can see through peoples intentions to hype. If you want to keep it then congrats at picking up a Dolk. I could have bought it but it knew i didnt want it. Didnt keep teddy riot, so there was no way i would keep this.


Dont want to comment any further on this print. It is what it is.
