Prices are insane. Swoon has been releasing a ton of stuff and a lot of originals for cheaper then this. Not sure how they decided to price these.

This is really insane - each and every item showed up as sold out and when I clicked it said about the item being in a cart - I never even saw one as available...

Anyway, I agree that the prices are waaaay too high, even the paper ones for $2000...

This was fast earned money.

only about 9-10 have sold so far. You can see on the page of the individual piece whether it has actually sold or is simply held in a basket.

To be honest, I don't think the prices are that outrageous for what amounts to an original piece of art from her. Most of her OGs that I've seen listed are usually double (at a minimum). I also love this image and have always wanted one on my wall.

That being said, the price IS unfortunately out of my budget and I'm pretty disappointed that I did not win last night's lottery. Oh well, one day ...

Agreed. $3k for a unique piece on wood at this size is below the usual primary market pricing. I cannot comment on secondary market pricing as I have never followed that.

For what is essentially a beautiful original Swoon piece on wood, $3k is a steal. Swoon is one of less than a handful of current street artists who is guaranteed to be in major museum collections for years to come.

I keep looking at one piece in particular, hoping against all hope, that somehow the price will be reduced or I will receive a call from a long lost family member notifying me that I've suddenly come into some unexpected money. I have a feeling I am seriously going to regret this 6 months from now, but unfortunately I just can't allow myself to drop the hammer ...

Couldn't agree more RPM, I think these are fairly priced given the artist and edition size - particularly the wood pieces. Thankfully for my bank account, the one I want is already sold.

Sometimes art drives me mad......I promised myself I wouldnt buy anything else, then Swoon releases a beautiful set of prints then the one I like the most becomes available!

So Im now the proud owner of this.....

Some of these are really nice.

For what's almost an original piece by an artist whose collected by the MOMA, Brklyn Museum etc. I think $2-3000 for these are an ok price and totally worth it if you really love it. But buying a Swoon wasn't a high priority for me and like everyone else I love a deal, if they were $2000 wood and the paper pieces $1500 I might have bit.
