yeah good article that. I think Robbo's totally entitled to sell some paintings. whether you like him / agree with the whole Banks beef thing or not, he's been painting for pure time, and if there's an upsurge of interest in his work, for whatever reason, why not capitalise on it? We've all got bills to pay and mouths to feed.

Well...all I want to say and hopefully Robbo will read this, not every street artist (whether its stencil based or pasties etc) are in it for the money (alot are but not all)

at the end of the day both banksy and robbo have benefited from this. But there is still alot of people who won't of and never will read that interview and wont understand the story behind the lil feud.

Is this the same Robbo who is having a show at Pure Evil's gallery? If it is, the whole pathetic 'king nobbo' shi te makes me hope he is treated with the contempt he deserves. Luckily I will not be in London to see this chancer cashing in on Banksy. I don't care what he has done in the past, it means nothing to me. He is no better than the pathetic Banksy copiers on Ebay trying to make money off Banksy's name.

1. The Robbo piece was destroyed with tags so it was open season for Banksy to go over the spot. If he didn't; the council probably eventually will have done. The beef should be with the toy taggers who went all up over the piece before Banksy did.

2. He did Robbo a massive favour by going over his piece, and Robbo and all his 'team members' know this. The renewed interest in the piece and Robbo as a person / 'artist' would not have come about otherwise.

3. I bet you Banksy intentions were good on this one. I bet he anticipated some thanks from Robbo, and deserved of that he would have been too. Instead Robbo the shoe shop man bit the hand that fed him, and in doing so has generated some pr yes, but made a right little mess in the process; not to mention highlighting himself to be a bit of a half-wit thug type.

4. The past might have been Robbo's but the future's Banksy's. You're all out of ideas!

It's so funny...I said it before here, but I was about a month ago, walking around London, near Angel...and a few "paintings" were outside a garage. I got close and some had the noticeable tag "Team Robbo" on them. A big guy came out and I asked "are you Robbo the guy who dfaced the Banksys all over London?".

It was him preparing his PE show, outside what I guess was his home.... ;D

Leaves me with a feeling of....mmmm....well...it's ironic init?!
