Charlie always puts on interesting shows, i will definitely head down there to see what robbo has done.

Still, very funny after all the sh*t he talked to move into gallery exhibits.

I'll wait to see what he produces before judging, although if its anything as bad as his normal nonsense i'll be slating him....

Here's an interview on Juxtapoz I read a while back, I kind of thought "fair enough" after reading it, he mentions the possibility of exhibiting too:

If someone offered you a gallery show, would you consider it?

"If you can get money out of something you love then why not.
There is a demand for me at the moment. I am getting head-hunted by a lot of different galleries approaching me with opportunities. I think ‘why not give it a go. Just see what happens’. You only get a few chances in life and this is a chance. I want to see where it takes me."

Agreed, anyone who thinks that Banksy was ok with Team Robbo following his new works around just to tag or ruin them before others had a chance to enjoy them, for the sake of hype - then they are off their rockers

My original post about the war being promo may have been a little open to interpretation, i dont think for one minute that banksy would have said go over my stuff to create some hype. I think it is probably an idea from nobbo to gain publicity. After all if you want to get your name known quickly by a lot of people who haven't heard of you it's probably the quickest way to do it.

I would love to bet, and be proven correct that this whole Banksy Robbo affair was not orchestrated in any way, as a pr stunt or otherwise.
As i've said before, and maintain; Banksy's done his thing, Robbo's taken offense and done his, this has indeed generated hype, and Charley, and others by the sounds of it, has spotted an opportunity, a laugh at worst, and offered him a show while the iron is still hot. There could be money in it for the gallery and money in it for Robbo, so why not give it a bash.
Not so strange that this is the course of events, and like all these cynical conspiracy theories, MBW etc, the truth is often stranger than fiction. Too many people trying to read between the lines, when you're staring at the truth. I'll bet those that think this Robbo thing was all planned, are the same people who think MBW is a Banksy puppet?

I think everyone is taking this far too seriously... Robbo is just a bomber, I doubt he has any interest in being an "artist" he's a tagger! He's garnered some recognition for going over Banksy walls and he's running with it and milking it for as long as it lasts, good luck to him... But that's it, don't overthink it, there's no hype, no marketing, just opportunities being taken whilst they're there.
He's only ever going to be as big as the general public make him out to be.

And... sorry to go on, but Charley shouldn't be getting grief for putting this on, his attitude is most probably if I don't do it someone else will, and he's always been left of field as far as London galleries are concerned... He's also a not for profit gallery, he only takes 25% whereas most take 50 or more... He's good people and what he does is good for the art scene in general... a robbo show will court controversy a little but in no way make or break his reputation as a gallerist or as an artist.
That's my two pence anyway.
