NEW SLINKACHU BOOK LAUNCH & PRINTS NEWS!, by ruggs on Sept 23, 2010 13:38:49 GMT 1, The end of the month sees the release of a Dutch/dual language, updated and revised version of my book. Titled 'Big Bad City' it features work from the previous book, new images from the past couple of years and also images of installations shot in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Publishers Lebowski are throwing a eclectic party to celebrate this, along with the Dutch launch of Banksy's film 'Exit Through the Gift Shop' and the launch of Vhils new book. I will be doing a 'treasure hunt' at the party where you can track down some little people and resist the urge to steal them before other people find them, and there will also be a showing of Banksy's film and an exhibition of original art by me, Banksy, Vhils, Lazer 3.14 as well as one of Giles Walker's (from Mutiod Waste) brilliant robots. Also DJs and drinks. Party time! The party is on 30/9/10 at Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam - see details below.
I will also be releasing a new limited print through Andipa Gallery to coincide with the launch, which I will post closer to the time, as well as a 'special edition' of the book that will come with another mini print of the cover image 'The Spoils of War'. Most of these will be available on the night, but I am holding back a few for the site so stay tuned.
