Just opened my streetart site for beta testing today, which aims to collect all streetart related info in one place. And on its first day it proved its value!
Log-in using your twitter account to: beta.advers.com
then go to: beta.advers.com/tag/Banksy
on the right-hand side you'll see a bunch of pictures from twitter.
Some of the user submitted photos of the new Banksy captures a sign mentioning "Southwark Council".
So it looks like this one is in London!

As one member has said I think its all in the juxtaposition of the two pieces. Having recently had a run in with a yob with two Japanese fighting dogs I personally find the image extremely apt. As a dog lover I am constantly disturbed by the way a small element of society use certain dogs as an extension of their persona. It is of course the owners fault not the dogs.
Its the use of Harings innocent childlike dog image with the hooded yob that delivers that very message to me.

Would be nice if it stayed for a bit, but with the robbo show on ... im not gonna hold my breath. Although im hoping once robbo's show is over all that will stop.
