Thanks

I believe the range fell in between $8k/$10k up to about $75k (all USD) - it was a good show!
He has another show coming up with Robert Nava soon in February I believe.

Thank you for the answer. Do you mean Bast and Robert Nava together ?? Or maybe you meant a solo Robert Nava exhibit at Allouche Gallery.....that's more likely.

I was told when I visited BAST's last show at Allouche in NY, that Robert had tapped him to show along side him in February.
There was strong support for BAST from important collectors and many established/emerging painters (Eddie Martinez, Robert Nara, etc.) really appreciated what he was producing currently.
I believe the joint show will take place in February in Greece.

When I was at Allouche, that is what I was told was the high-end range for the largest canvases. Yes, some of them had sold.
I wasn't there when the cash register was rung, but no reason for me to doubt it.

BAST Art, by slipry on Mar 1, 2020 20:33:27 GMT 1, Looks like there were 6 Nava pieces and 6 for BAST.
- All the Nava pieces are sold out. - As of last night, there were 4 BAST pieces available from the show.
Most of the images can be found on BAST's IG account, or better yet, you can go to artsy and search Allouche Benias.
Poor form from Allouche Benias on not getting any catalogues out to collectors. I do not know of one single person who received a PDF; weird -

Did much of Bast’s last show sell? Allouche don’t seem to make much effort selling their clients’ work.

Personally I prefer Bast’s work by a mile. In person they have such a great quality to them, that you don’t feel in pictures online. I’m not sure what he needs to do to up his game, but making more editions to get people excited could help.

BAST Art, by bonesy on Dec 1, 2020 14:22:12 GMT 1, This is still my favorite thread on this site.
Not new images, but maybe the only 2 signed I've ever seen. I think the POW website said a portion of the edition was signed but not so sure any actually were- I could very well be wrong here. I mailed these prints to Rae around 2006 and he was kind enough to have Bast sign them and mail them back to me.
