Space Invader FRAMED, by Nick on Jul 19, 2017 19:41:44 GMT 1, Shouldn't leave a brown mark but if the print does fade due to UV then the very edge (about 2mm) will have the same brighter colour that it was originally. Only time I have seen mating board leave a brown/black mark is when the card is black. Use white card for the spacer and you won't get that issue.
edit: if you meant the actual side edge that is in fact touching the moulding, you'll need to get some advice from a framer. But that's such a thin area I very much doubt it. I haven't seen it but then again i've only once removed the artwork from a frame I did like this and it came out minty fresh.

Space Invader FRAMED, by vivaladan89 on Feb 16, 2018 0:23:59 GMT 1, Just got back from the framer. Couldn't mat this one without using tape because signature and ed wouldn't show so i told them to keep it simple for conversations sake. My first real collectible piece by the man but hopefully not my last. currently on view in my office but once my house gets finished being remodeled I'll post more pics of its final resting place.

ROOQ did a fantastic job with this one! Inspiration was taken directly from the forum so thank you for all the previously posted photos. This gets a lot of love from apartment guests.
The bright natural backlight didnt make for the best photo quality unfortunately, but I wanted to get a picture up here anyway. This one is pretty massive all framed up!

Given the level of thought that clearly went into different aspects of framing, I'm curious about your glazing choice.
Was the decision to forgo non-reflective glass or acrylic just to keep costs down?

I went with UV protective glass and the reflection in this photo is exaggerated by the camera. In person it's much easier on the eyes.
