get what he's trying to say with artistic license to replicate an image but there's a difference between using and stealing an image... he's just using the same blabla all them copycats hide behind to justify their stealing.

As far I am aware he is in breach of copyright that you own because it is your image. Look at Cartrain and Hirst. It is flatering granted but it is also against the law. What he says is rubbish about Warhol etc, forget it all. He is not making an artistic statement he has made a product.
I would definately make sure Eelus is aware of this and would email Stella Dore and POW too. They will have advisors and be able to send a much more impressive email I am sure. There is a British website about intellectual property that will give you advice. I had to ring them in an emergency and they were great. You can also officially register your image there.

Us forum artists need to look after each other. It could be anyone of us next. If nothing else this is a matter of British pride afgainst the bully boys of the US of A - go David - fire that sling.

Interested in short term gains and not that bothered about being liked. What matters to him is to make a bit of cash any which way.
