Joseph Loughborough π¬π§ Charcoal Drawing β’ Gold Leaf, by fingerz on Jun 8, 2012 11:59:48 GMT 1, British artist Joseph Loughborough (studio visit) will be back in London next week for the opening of his long anticipated solo show at The Future Tense in association with the Old Vic Tunnels. This introspective, confessional corpus of work, developed over the last 12 months whilst living in self-imposed exile in Paris, speaks of not only mortal sins and desires, but of fears and the acknowledgement of one's own absurdity. Working exclusively in charcoal and graphite at a previously unseen scale, Joseph will open "The Anatomy Of Strangers" next week on June 13th, 5PM at The Old Vic Tunnels

Joseph Loughborough π¬π§ Charcoal Drawing β’ Gold Leaf, by jusdeep on Jun 15, 2012 16:46:53 GMT 1, Congrats on your first piece Dan, if you're like me it won't be your last. Great show by the way and well worth making an effort to get down to the tunnels. The surrounding and lighting, (although imo a little detramental to the work), added an extra dimension to Joseph's art and took it away from an unsuited clinical white space gallery. Loved the piano room and a the majority of the large pieces which were mind blowing both in scale and execution. A good selection of drawings at affordable prices and all in all a class first solo show from a true talent.

Joseph Loughborough π¬π§ Charcoal Drawing β’ Gold Leaf, by edcase on Jun 19, 2012 11:30:42 GMT 1, Here is the video of Joe's live drawing event last Saturday.
Most of the show has now sold but there are still a couple of great works that I'm surprised are still available. The remaining show dates are Thursday 5 - 10pm and Sat / Sun 11 - 4pm.
Anyone know how to embed Vimeo vids? Doesn't seem to be working?

Joseph Loughborough π¬π§ Charcoal Drawing β’ Gold Leaf, by edcase on Jun 23, 2012 15:34:35 GMT 1, Just a heads up that both our current shows close this weekend.
Joseph Loughborough solo show at the Old Vic Tunnels is 11 til 4 today and tomorrow.
The print has been hand carved and printed then i have worked into each one individually with charcoal, eraser and pastel to recreate the expressive mark making familiar with my work. Each piece is completly unique.

Joseph Loughborough π¬π§ Charcoal Drawing β’ Gold Leaf, by Coach on Feb 11, 2013 16:18:47 GMT 1, The hugely talented artist Joseph Loughborough is having a solo show:
MEMBERS β’ Please Post & Share Links to New PRINT RELEASES and Auctions below
etower80 β’ For sale Kenny Random "Let it Go" Giclee Print Snoopy Banksy Hand finished edition of 50. Print in hand Etower80@gmail.com
etower80 β’ Jeremy Geddes The cafe for sale. Please pm if interested. Etower80@gmail.com
proffesser β’ Mr Brainwash in Nottingham on Wednesday 4th December 6-8pm.. a tad too early for me but might appeal to some more local clarendonfineart.com/collections/come-and-meet-mr-brainwash
rparducci β’ That's a good idea ,have you got any pictures of what exactly you meant? Was thinking of maybe ornate in red too? What are your thoughts
Daniel Silk β’ The number or Boards and Threads continues to fall as we simplify the layout of the forum.
Daniel Silk β’ I hear a lot of Artists complaining about Instagram in the past year, how it used to be a good tool for Artists, but it's not good anymore, is that true?
anyaart β’ For Brett Kern fans, I noticed there is a spinosaurus for sale on E-Bay. It's a limited edition, one of only 60 made. This is the rarest of his dinosaurs. I am not the seller. I already have the same dino purchased in 2016. I've never seen one up for sale
Daniel Silk β’ Apology β’ Sorry I have been offline this past few weeks, due to a very bad Fever. I'm slowly getting better, step by step, and catching up with things here on the forum on the days I'm well enough. Thank you for your understanding.
Boy Wonder β’ I read that they were more or less nicked the same day they went up. Loads of fakes exist.
milou2 β’ Would love to see any photos of Banksy's first exhibition at the Severnshed in Bristol (2000). Who was there?*
jirr β’ Hi all, over here in the states. Pandemic put me out of business, need to sell this asap. Please send offers thanks so much
matgab β’ Steven Harrington - Gotcha first ed for sale.
1nkling β’ I can't help but think that a more reasonable tier for people who just want to support the work you guys do would raise more income. Then other tiers for those that want specialist benefits.
1nkling β’ As soon as I saw the heading for the email I thought 'Oh yeah, I use that place a lot. I'd happily support it'. Not at Β£40 a month though. I have a paid sub for a Formula 1 site I use that is very active. They have a high uptake on subs at Β£12 a year.
1nkling β’ Pricing on the new supporters sub seems a bit poorly thought out. Β£40 a month to have a pinned sale thread being the only listed benefit?
