Just getting some work together,getting together a portfolio of work-set up our own collective so lots to come including a market stall but just hoped for some feedback really from you guys - so feel free to judge and let me know your thoughts please

I'm very very impressed!!!

Especially like the 1st, 3rd 8th and 9th images. They are wicked! And you say this is you just starting out ?!? You seem to have two different style, those I've listed above and the 'known people' images (which are still pretty cool, the multiple Ali one). What's your thinking behind them?

I like the Twiggy / Jagger and Hendrix ones v much, and is that Debbie Harry?. v good. Where are you selling them from ?.

Your work looks v good, and has a similar feel to Ian Francis / Byroglyphics (minus the animals!).

prob brick lane i guess,cant get into spits at moment-nice to get some feedback from people who aint just my mates
in a small exhibition at craze gallery in notting hill in a couple weeks - first show really so pieces will be on sale there and obv sell privatley
always just painted iconic type images,and what you cant really see is the texture, important to all my work really-just like making a real mess
lots of different styles really going on, dont want to set on just one idea, just seeing what i can come up with really

Congrats and good luck for your first show Benslow! Keep making a 'real mess' as those different styles are all working. Any more pic's, especially close up to see the different textures? Quality!

Good stuff! The twiggy one also reminds me of Byroglyphics.
There's a skill to controlling the mess in paintings and you have it down pretty good! Keep it up!

Ye, thats what i think, not easy to create a nice mess, tho not everyone seems to get that so thankyou all, il keep putting new stuff up as it comes

Just got thousands of ali stickers done so if any you in london, you may see small ali armys cropping up everywhere

Thanks, no,none of it is silkscreen, all either originals or digital prints which are from scans of the originals
want to do screens but cant afford to right now

I think these are absolutely awesome!! very top one and the jagger ones are my fav's. Personally, I think your technique and control of these "messes" top that of Mr Walker!
Think the Mr T might still need a bit of work. But ruddy good otherwise!

Hey Ben, I've dealt quite a few times with Mike from Edge Art www.edgeart.co.uk emailing [e-mail] . He is building his artist rosta with some new, exciting and talented artists. You certainly fit that category ! And he is always a pleasure to deal with. Maybe worth a look ;D

Hey all, just a quick note to say there is an opening down at The Craze Gallery on Portabello Road tomorrow night, running from 6 til 9
Its a group show consisting of work from 7 London artists and is my first exhibition in a long time - so looking forward to it
Know a couple guys on here are planning on heading down , so look forward to meeting you all. The more the merrier so feel free to pop down and say hi,should be a good, busy night
Great little space at far end of Portabello Road, Ladbroke Grove Station is your best bet

Do you have a driver Fatherxmas? , might see you there!.

If i was drinking, A driver or oyster card would be very handy but a rule of thumb for me is not to drink during the week.... Need a clear head. Friday/saturday/sunday is when i can get dead

All the best for the show tonight Ben, really hope it goes well and you get lots of interest. Would love to come but the slight problems of distance and work gets in the way of coming down from Edinburgh. Would love to see some pictures so Wiz, FX if you have a camera and get the chance?!?
