Sadly, also the legend about the two fingers in a 'v' being a protest against the french for failing to cut our 'bow' fingers off is also an untruth. I'm gutted about that one. I suppose it makes sense, there's no masterpieces with an english guy giving the french a 'fcuk off' sign...... Not yet anyway.

Someone got an absolute bargain on that triptych last night. Went for only £580 in the end, thats nearly £200 lest than its original cost.

I'll probably get negged for this because some forum members don't dig Mr Baldwins work but if you've missed out on some of the recent SG prints then I'd suggest having a look at the Harwood King site as they have just put up the new Baldwin print. Ed of 50 - £450. Bit dark and clearly not everyones cup of tea but I've got two of his prints and the quality is hands down better than anything POW have produced - IMO

I was going to say either the website is wrong (most likely) or the price above is, but I know what the problem is. The website says $382.99, but if you add one to your basket the $'s become £'s and then there is VAT to add. For a moment I thought I might get a bargain ;D

I have three pieces by Dan; two on the wall, one ready for framing and really like his work, but this piece doesn't move things on in the same way the last release could be argued as having done. It has skulls and swallows, both done a number of times before by Dan. If I didn't have a couple of Divine Revelations already maybe I would be tempted, but I'd really like to see something new and fresh. I am sure it looks great in the flesh, my DR5 looks the dogs so I will keep my judgement open until I see it for real.

You can actually buy the other prints of the run of 20 direct from the printers Harwood King.

While there is clearly a similar motif to Hirst's these are all hand finished so are effectively one off's.
