Yeah I heard it..... Couple of immediate stand out tracks to my ears, and the others I suspect will be growers.
Been waiting such long for this from quite possibly my favourite group - can it possibly live up to expectations?
First impression is no, not quite, but they still make some of the best music ever, and by most other band's standards this is a great album.
Prefer the version of Psyche on the EP though....

I have the album

and it's there worst album ever.
So dissapointed again.

Massive attack seem to need more than just the two of them.
Compared to portisheads last album
it's amateur.

I have the album (Deluxe from Itunes), dont have a Vinyl PLayer lol it's soo the 90's.

Being a massive fan(lol) of Massive Attack, i'd say this is the 2nd best album they've made since they've been in existence. (Mezzazine #1 obviously imo).
I am very pleased with it.

Massive Attack seems to me, to be working fine with just the 2 of 'em together with all those guest vocals. Mr. Blur/Gorillaz also makes an apperance(or two), and it works very well.

A perfect album i think.

Have to agree with positive comments above - this is a well balanced album - some pretty light upbeat tracks, some (classic MA) dark stuff and some just plain weird! - think its their recent best album bar Mezzazine. Probably a grower two - hard a couple of listens through driving to and from work today and its already starting to make sense - recommended .... plus 3Ds cool artwork!

They were pretty damn fine in Newport last night, Martina Topley Bird gives them an edge they have not had for quiet a while live. Light show was very impressive with what looked like JR's work backdropping a lovely pared down"Teardrop"

One thing they could do with is cutting back the guitar wig outs which seem to build on most tracks, Angelo has way more action than when he was with The Blue Aeroplanes which is saying something !!

That's mental, I can't believe Tfl are so anal. They really should get their priorities right and provide London users with a better service rather than worrying about what advertisers are doing. Surely everything has to go through some reglatory process before it's deemed fit for the public?
I was listening to the new album yesterday. Like others have said a few stand out tracks and I'm sure the others will become growers.

its true they are so anal. we had to get an advert past them advertising an exhibition of graffiti/street artists. Without it looking like anything to do with street art or graffiti!!! Cue many rejected submissions...
