Ive bought few blek's from panambabe no problem and I checked first couple through BRP and they are sound. HE/she often sells A/Ps, which are always given to the artist/printer and gallery to do with as they wish so if Mike gives them to this person then thats his prerogative. Looks like this seller is having a clear out of stuff. No big deal I don't think.

How much were these originally at BRP?

I don't care who is selling them, or their relationship to BRP (unless it is the actual gallery). What I have a slight problem with is trying to sell them as a lot of 10. If I were Logan I wouldn't be very happy. And if I were BRP I wouldn't be so happy either.

Wow... has it really come to fire sales like this? Talk about Black Rat Press royally screwing up Logan's career by releasing a print in waaay too high of an edition. Now his prints are being sold in lots of 10 for less than half the original ask per unit... (lists for £175.00 on BRP)

A sad site for a great artist. Question... who is the seller? malthouseantiques? They seem to be selling all the Black Rat Press overstock stuff. Hmmm...

I'm tempted to email BRP to ask them about it.

They were £175. I bought one from the LH show at BRP - it's a great print in the flesh so if you can club together and get 1 cheap (and can get over the panambabe hoopla - like others on this thread I've bought from her/him too with no probs) I would.

thanks rico. when i found out mike was the same age as me when the accident happened, i think it struck even more of cord than it usually would. i don't think there's any visual difference to the a/p's but i'll double check when i get home. the a/p coa's are a different shade of yellow though ;D i didn't want to drop the charity line into negotiations incase i made the seller feel uncomfortable. it wasn't actually panambabe but no doubt they know each other & too are old friends of brp. the transaction was great & he seemed like a nice guy to boot.
