Banksy refused to paint the side of George Micheal's pad also!!
He just doesnt do guest appearances!!

It wasn't the canvas, that was stolen, the piece that was stolen was a signed print, gifted to her by Laz (she signed 2 of them, one for her and the other Laz has kept), and its the black and white ap edition - like this one

When Kate Moss wants a wall painted she doesn't call the local handyman... she rings Banksy.
The guerilla graffiti artist has been given the keys to Kate Moss's mansion after she commissioned him to do a bizarre one-off mural.
The supermodel, 36, wants her and several of her celebrity pals - including Prime Minister Gordon Brown - depicted through the ages.
Measuring around 12ft by 18ft, the paintjob is understood to have cost Mossy up to £150,000.
Should have gone to Homebase. We're told: "Kate is a big fan of Banksy and has several prints of his, plus a few originals, collected at home. He has even done a portrait of Moss herself.
"She explained exactly what she wanted doing and Banksy gave her a quote. It wasn't cheap. Kate asked for an entire wall to be painted, showing Kate on the catwalk at all stages of her career - from a fresh-faced 16-year-old to her last appearance earlier this year.
"The painting also shows various wellknown faces including pals Sadie Frost, Naomi Campbell, Lily Allen and even Gordon Brown and his wife, Sarah. It is pretty eclectic." You can say that again. And we're told that, among all the beauties, there's a few beasts as well.
Our source says: "Weirdly, the fashion show 'audience' also features a few animals. It is surrealist in nature, and extremely eye-catching.

I would expect that Daniel is probably trying to break up the onslaught of sales threads and collection liquidations with some substance. The "mental health" comment seems relatively inappropriate for the amount of time you spend on the forum. Some of that "rubbish" is pure gold unless you are here just trying to peddle overpriced Shrigley flips and it is diverting eyes from your posts. I would assume that Daniel has noted that new visitors basically don't come back because most of the longtime members aren't adding content just flogging their rubbish and adding zero and it drives potential new members away. If you click on the first page of any of those old posts, its crazy, people are actually talking about the art and the scene when it hit in real time. It doesn't seem like anybody even had a collection that they needed to dispose of (yet). |
