Vhils and Bast..in the Flesh?, by Argiebaji on Dec 10, 2008 10:35:09 GMT 1, I was lucky enough to buy Vhils 'Ephemeral decay' and Bast's Popoeye prints from POW yesterday
...has anyone seen them in the Flesh ...I guess they were on sale at POW over the weekend..
The Bast is on Recycled Straw paper..Que??

Mr. Farto has done some really good stuff and the exhibition and installation pictures on his site look very interesting. Would love to see an exhibition with Vhils.

From what I have seen - hand painted with acrylic and screen printed over it. There is a thread about it somewhere.
Anyway it looks great.
If you're a BAST fan you're in for a treat.

Hopefully none that state 5HITHEAD with stink lines all over it like some of the Mickeys!

i saw the vhils piece on line, and wanted it, until i found the price of it. it was only when i saw it in person, that i fell in love with it and would have probably paid a lot more for it... its awesome up close...

Bast was great...really didnt like the black version though, they seemed to have paper stuck to them where they had been stcked when wet  I went for the silver 20 edition of Mickey instead....would have had popeye but saved the money for lottery purchase

oh, and they smell awesome when you open the tube!
