Just to let you know I'll be releasing my second and last prints of the year on Tuesday.





All the prints are extensively handfinished with spraypaint.

They are both A3 in size (11.7"x16.6") giclee on 300gsm HD Verona archival paper with a protective finish.

A limited edition of 25 signed and numbered prints per image plus 5 artists proofs per image which feature even more hand finishing and are varnished.

They'll cost £30 ($47) each and £35 ($55) for the artists proofs but if you buy both prints you'll get a discount with them being £50 ($80) for both.

Like with previous releases randomly picked buyers will win original artwork by me including sketches and a larger unique canvas.

I plan to release them next Tuesday the 30th at 7pm GMT (2pm EST, 11 AM PST) on my site:

nope fingerz as the AP's have a lot more time spent on them doing the handfinishing and then varnishing them.

I've just completed this new canvas entitled "Getting To Grips With Surface Details".



It's 36x14" spraypaint on gallery canvas. It's in my origami lettering style spelling the word "Surface".

Hi all,

Just thought I'd share something special with you. It's my latest painting and is entitled "Capture A Moment In Colour's Course" and is painted on a late Victorian piece of furniture I found discarded on my travels which I believe to be a wooden frame that once held a mirror.




The piece is painted directly onto the back wood panel of the frame entirely in spraypaint featuring a girl with a outstretched hand amongst blossoms of vivid colours including pink, green, blue purple, red, orange, yellow and metallic gold.

It features all manner of subtle depth and movement effects including a unique technique I invented that allows me to temporarily chemically alter the spraypaint so it behaves like oil paint allowing it to be smeared across the surface of the wood. The picture doesn't really do it justice but you can get a good idea.

It's 24"x16" in size (of the painted area) and 28x26" including the frame.

I think it looks fantastic (would love to see it in color, obviously, but just from the pics it looks great) and I dig the frame/repurposed furniture angle.

thanks pcant and yes you really need to see it in person to get the full effect as the details, depth/movement effects are much more prominent as well as the colours, like the gold which acts as an accent which appears orange in this photo.

Very nice Replete. To push this idea further, it would be neat if you used drawers from old furniture/desks. They would be smaller, and also suitable for hanging without and framing needed. Also, might be neat if you used drawers, to add some collage stuff to add dimension. Just some random ideas... but very nice piece you posted. Best of luck.
