Banksy Laugh Now • DJ Dangermouse 12", by FЯ on May 11, 2014 23:41:53 GMT 1, no hype here. going by researched prices. don't necessarily agree with the prices, but i don't want to sell them for less than they've been going for. I bought all the records over the course of a few years because I can't afford a real Banksy print and some of these are really nice framed up. only selling because the front wheel of my wife's car fell off and she needs a new car. will be happy to keep them if they don't sell Dont worry, just taking the piss out of the deadwood on here.

I could be wrong, but the Cut Commander and Underground Cut Commander look to be screen printed. I don't think they were ever that popular, so their aren't too many around. so technically it's not too dissimilar from a limited edition print

Banksy Laugh Now • DJ Dangermouse 12", by Deleted on May 12, 2014 0:47:25 GMT 1, someone got a nice deal there. probably b/c the seller didn't know to put BANKSY anywhere in the title. wish i had bid on it.
this one sold for over $500 in March: www.ebay.ca/itm/Rare-BANKSY-We-Love-You-So-Love-Us-12-inch-LP-/181329186952
also - don't go by Discogs prices... it's not accurate, like EB's. I've personally purchased a couple of mine from there and the sales didn't register in the history

Banksy Laugh Now • DJ Dangermouse 12", by Deleted on May 12, 2014 2:17:15 GMT 1, agreed! I got some bargains on a few of mine because people didn't know/advertise it as a "banksy", and only sold is a band's record. but I've also paid premiums for some (Happy Choppers, Cut Commander, Underground Terror Tactics, Queen & Cuntry and a few more) just because I had been searching forever and they were the first I saw on the market
i think prices are going up on everything Banksy, so the vinyl, especially the authorized ones, are as close to a Banksy as people can afford, driving demand and prices up
i agree that some prices on some of these are absurd, especially for the unauthorized ones. But the One Cut records are in limited supply and high demand, and to me at least, are almost as good as a released print. Images are strong, and the screen printing is solid. Same with the "We Love You...So Love Us" since it's one his most recognizable images and dates back all the way to 2000.
Like I said, I don't want to sell these, but need the cash so my wife doesn't have to take the bus. That being said, if they don't sell for the asking price, I'm happy to keep them and hang on the wall

Banksy Laugh Now • DJ Dangermouse 12", by astrobboy on May 12, 2014 2:25:21 GMT 1, Maybe split your auction into affordable smaller ones. $2k is a lot of outlay in one go, but maybe some people will take you up on the offer of the expensive ones for $500 each.
Good luck with the sales.

Banksy Laugh Now • DJ Dangermouse 12", by Deleted on May 12, 2014 2:38:16 GMT 1, thanks. i've posted the lot for sale on here and EB before, and got tons of offers to purchase individual records, but I'm hoping to sell it as a collection. I'd rather have all of the records in my possession, or none of them. guess I'm just stubborn

Exactly. If we are assuming this is entry level stuff then 2k is a lot to spunk. May as well hold on and buy an unsigned print for not that much more.

Banksy Laugh Now • DJ Dangermouse 12", by aberdoom on May 13, 2014 8:33:10 GMT 1, Damon Albarn Damon Albarn ( born 23 March 1968) is an English musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer from Whitechapel, London, England. He is best known as the lead singer of the band Blur. He, along with Tank Girl creator Jamie Hewlett, formed the virtual band Gorillaz, as part of which he is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. One of his projects is the supergroup The Good, the Bad & the Queen, where he plays the keyboard and sings. Other members of the band are Paul Simonon (bass, The Clash), Simon Tong (guitar, The Verve) and Tony Allen (drums, percussion). Their album (released in early 2007) is produced by DJ Danger Mouse (producer of Gorillaz album "Demon Days", member of Gnarls Barkley). The Marvelous Dream Songfacts says that another of his projects is Dr Dee, an opera created by Albarn with theatre director Rufus Norris. The work is based on the life of Dr. Source: last.fm
DJ Danger Mouse worked with Albarn aswell? Got bored so started googling ha ha

I would like to buy one, or maybe even a set of, those 12" records with the monkey cover by DJ Danger Mouse, the title is Laugh Now / Keep It Real.
Yes, I know they are unofficial but I still like them and I could never afford a Banksy Laugh Now print. Please PM me if you have any of these for sale. Thanks!
By the way, if you have a similar record for sale then drop me a line too. I'm on the lookout for a few others like Don't Stop Me Now from Queen & C**try. And nope, that's not a misspelling.

Banksy Laugh Now • DJ Dangermouse 12", by Agent Provocateur on May 22, 2017 11:34:15 GMT 1, Alrighty
I'm putting up this vinyl collection for sale, all were bought when released (and have never been played), if anyone is interested I will sort out more detailed photos showing any condition issues, corners etc. I'm pretty sure they are all in very good nick, with the artwork as bought, but there might be a couple of slightly doinked corners.
I'm not looking at splitting or selling individually, and would prefer delivery/meeting up in and around the London area (by myself) or collection from South London. I think it's a cool package for anyone that didn't buy them originally and likes the artwork. Feel free to send questions and offers by PM or email aphq@aprovocateur.co.uk
The complete package is:
5 x Dirty Funker 'Future' Radar Rat vinyls (2008)* - red/grey, red/brown, red/white, pink/white and orange/white * the photograph below shows the side without the sticker, all have the original release sticker on the other side
4 x DJDM 'Laugh Now' / 'Keep it real...' vinyls (2008)* - gold (metallic), silver (metallic), bronze and green [each a ltd. ed., numbered x/1000] * each of the four sleeves has 'Laugh now but one day we'll be in charge' on one side and 'Keep it real' on the other (photo below shows the gold 'Laugh now..' side and the rest 'Keep it real')
1 x Dirty Funker 'Flat Beat' Happy Choppers vinyl (2009)* - Happy Choppers on blue background one side and Happy Choppers on yellow background on the other * the photograph below is of two (to show both sides) but only one is included in the package
-
-
AP
ps. I am totally aware the artwork on the record sleeves does not have any official Banksy authentication, so they are being sold as what they are. The reason for trying to flog them now is I have only just found out they seem to be selling for some good money (and I found these in a box when I moved at the end of last year).
