WHERE TO SEE BANKSY
10:40 - 22 September 2006 There are plenty of places where Banksy's graffiti can still be seen in the city.Opposite the Granary on Welsh Back, Banksy created a mural under the words "There's all this noise but you ain't saying nothing".
On Stokes Croft, a large mural entitled "Mild Mild West" shows a giant teddy bear hurling a petrol bomb at riot police.
A spooky figure in a canoe, below, was put up on the side of floating nightclub club Thekla but was painted over - despite a vote by clubbers to keep the artwork.
On the wall of Brook Young People's Clinic in Unity Street a naked man is hanging from a window, which another man is looking out of. A woman, perhaps his wife, is standing behind him and appears to be half naked.
The image, which can be seen from Park Street, sparked controversy when first put up and the council held a poll over whether to keep it.
This week it emerged that because the building is listed, the image may have to be painted over.

the last time I looked (about a month ago) the boatman reaper was still on the side of the Thekla. Maybe you are mistaken - the first tag Banksy put on it was painted over (apparently by the port authority), so he returned and put on the boatman reaper. shellshockphotos.co.uk, london
