What do you drive? , by Deleted on Feb 24, 2015 21:42:00 GMT 1, Here's mine. Spends a lot of time in my garageย
Nice S. Are those Boxster specific Carrera 2's or the normal 996 version? I have a spare set from the 996 that I was thinking about popping on the Boxster but never looked up the spacers needed.
Porsche changing the offsets every couple of years is rather annoying

Came with the car but I think they are normal 996 alloys.

What do you drive? , by Deleted on Feb 24, 2015 22:34:24 GMT 1, Very Nice Larry David!
By far the best Boxster they have made to date. I have been quite happy with my '03 (owned since new) through the new versions every 3 years until this model made it's debut. Then I was like..., WOW. What this car always should have been Congrats.

Thanks a mill, you are right, I had an 05 S previous but this is on another planet, I drove a 08 911 Carrera back to back and this was just .......... Had it since end of last year so almost 3 years old, but now almost run in! I drive it every day and it puts a smile on the face every time.

What do you drive? , by Lroy on Feb 24, 2015 23:22:57 GMT 1, Street-art is dead. Looks like. This isn't even in the street art or urban art forum. Not sure what you're getting at... i dont want to make my mess , i Prefer to make jokes, laughing rather than to make disputes or (not objective ) critics... I ever told the truth. I saw this morning your thread my friend and I told in myself , oh, it could've fun ( even if I have no driving license nor even had driven a car ).. Well, first I saw these cars, ok, not too much " football 'stars ones, then I saw some funny " rides ". I was a bit shocked by the 3 motorbikes in the dinning-room ( motorbikes are to be in the roads - as prints or graffitis on the walls and not under the bed or in a safe - not in a show-room but why not , eccentricity) , then I post my rotten bike ... And to finish I saw these Porsche etc.,. Well, on this forum, there is poor and there is rich, just I remark that this thread becomes a serious thing, about cars. Yes cars tomorrow trucks ( Banksy s one ? :-) ), then private jet etc... To finish I spoke about street-art, name of this forum ( we are not on a Bonhams or Sotheby's forum, even not in an intellectual one that I could imagine from hgh members of the state ) , and - I am not the Unix one to think about that - we are more talking about money, value, than about art itself ( even if this forum have quality members lovers of art , and gentlemen ) , me often speak about prints and less about walls or artists ( yes, you will Tell me that there Is SAN for that ). Anyway Some new artists - And friends- seem to avรฉ no chance Here , Why ? Some have a lot of talent ( look Dran Is very wellknown Here - more than in France - because of Banksy , but his crew, Da Mental Vaporz mรขles amazing walls And drawings too).. Anyway dont act, my remarks are sometimes stupids , a bit spontaneous I guess .

From churning out a steady stream of ltd editions lots of street artists drive around in Porsche's and flash motors.
Banksy must have at least one Porsche in his nicely painted garage.

What do you drive? , by Wilson on Feb 25, 2015 12:15:24 GMT 1, Dodcoquelicot I think perhaps you may have read this wrong. It wasn't really meant to be a dick waving thing (don't know how/if that translates). I think people were genuinely interested to see other peoples wheels whether they be a Veron or a pick up. Did you raise your issues with the "latest pad" thread. It is basically the same.
I suppose the problem here is that the middle ground folk (with neither a Veron or a quirky Deux Chevaux) would be unlikely to post.
For the record my Porsche is 12 years old and cost less than most new family cars.

What do you drive? , by Deleted on Feb 26, 2015 17:40:44 GMT 1, max, no, no track days for me, or for insurance reasons in the States we call it "drivers education." I adhere to the adage that if you can't afford to leave it on the track, don't bring it to the track, and alas I cannot. But my wife and I have done flagging for our yearly club race a few times. That was really fun.
Dell, nice bikes. but I gotta say I'm more of a fan of the '61. Very nice.

What do you drive? , by crysak on Mar 22, 2015 2:02:31 GMT 1, Here's my current car, built from stock.
R33 Skyline Stage 1 with mech 2 way diff, full geo/suspension upgrades, GTR interior, braces, bodywork, breather mods, ECU, wider track, extra lock, forged wheels blah blah soon to be going hybrid bottom mount turbo (to keep low spool).
Also have a highly modified 1993 RX-7 FD and the girlfriend has a really nice modified 2.0 MX-5 NC, will get pics of these when they're finally washed, only just got the FD running properly since buying it!

What do you drive? , by hippychick on Mar 22, 2015 14:36:55 GMT 1, 2006 Mustang. Daily drive with a 50 mile round trip commute. I agree with Wilson - this cost about the same as a new family car and I love the fact that it turns more heads than a lot of supercars that have cost considerably more. (helps that I'm in the UK and there aren't that many on the road though)

What do you drive? , by hippychick on Mar 22, 2015 16:36:21 GMT 1, ... the new mustang is available in Right Hand drive I know - was just looking at them online this morning but I'm so used to left hand drive it'd feel wrong! Plus it's fun having other drivers looking over to see there's no-one in the "driver's" seat and then looking over again to see it's a girl driving :-)

No, I don't so I try forward plan for open air pay and display instead of multi-stories where I have to do the little run around the car. Small price to pay though.
