;D C'mon Carlo, Torres was on fire against Reading and with regular selection wil prove value for that fee.

Fabregas, by arcam on Sept 29, 2007 1:41:27 GMT 1, Yeah, but Torres is better If I had to make a choice I'd take Fabregas simply for the fact that he seems to create as many goals as he scores. But Torres was made for the Premiership, and if given the chance will be top goal scorer this season. I've no doubt in my mind.
Put it this way they'd both be in my dream team and both are in my Fantasy football team. ;D

Fabregas, by pastiepie on Sept 30, 2007 10:08:16 GMT 1, Fabregas is this years Ronaldo. He's definitely improved his goal shooting over the break but is still consistently getting an assist every game or two. Not really comparable to Messi as they play a different style of game. Although if the rumour's are to be believed Chelasa should be going after him and not the washed up Ronaldinho. I still think Elano will be the revelation of the season.

i saw messi play for argentina against brazil last season, did absolutely nothing. on the other hand tevez was absolutely awesome, his running and movement were as good as i've ever seen. if he could score he would be dangerous
as for cesc, i suggest you lot try and get to see him play. you think he's good now? wait 'til he grows up! if we win anything this season i will be so proud of him in particular. years ago i used to watch pep guardiola play for barca like the game was too easy, cesc makes him look pub team by comparison.
as for torres, i'll judge him come may. i don't see as much football on tv as i'd like as i don't get sky. i won't be seeing him play against us for the 'pool either this season so unless we get drawn in a cup then i'll have to wait until next season. i do like the look of him so far though.

Fabregas, by lesbianwednesdays on Oct 7, 2007 19:39:31 GMT 1, cesc weren't on top form today but you can't be the best every week. shows he's fallible if nothing else, good result if not a great performance from the arse today.
as this seems to be a cesc V torres kind of thread(s), i think in all fairness this week should go to that lanky scouse ponce, crouch's better looking twin . well done to him for saving the reds a point. oh, and taking two back off the scum ;D
7-1 to cesc, yeah?

Good point Pez,merida has the potential to eclipse Cesc and Denilson is already knocking at the door.

Fabregas, by lesbianwednesdays on Nov 3, 2007 21:54:07 GMT 1, lo and behold, the boy done good - yet again! must say i was extremely disapointed with united today, not with them personally but just the way they came to play. or not, more's the point. they were/are capable of giving anyone a run for their money so why on earth did they sit back and turn up so bereft of ideas?
that said i'm glad we didn't lose having gone behind with about 6/7 minutes left. the team spirit is immense at the arse, from the back all the way through the team, i think almunia cost us on the second goal but what goes around..........................etc, etc.
this post isn't all anti-man yoo, far from it. as poor as i thought they were, i thought our lot lacked conviction. we could and should have gone and taken a risk and really tried to win the game, a draw did them more favours than us. when we went forward united looked lost and as mean as their defensive record is, they looked proper shaky from where i was sitting. in the context of the game a draw was a fair result but if either team had stopped admiring and respecting one another then it could have been another story.
a quick mention for wayne rooney if i may, largely insignificant during the game, apart from when it truly mattered but what put him right up in my estimations came in the 90th minute, maybe even injury time. an arsenal player, possibly theo, went running in to the box and just lost out on an over-zealous shoulder to shoulder with rio i think and then chased the loose ball with evra and hit him solidly but a little late perhaps. with united 2-1 up away from home the frenchman was about to take a leaf out of wank der sar's book and take all year about it, rolling around on the floor for ten years when rooney ran a good 30 yards to grab him, tell him to stand up and fight on. as it happens it allowed us to eventually equalise but regardless of that i massively respect rooney's no nonsense attitude as if to say that if they were goin to win they would do it like men and not roll around like a bunch of pussies.
+1 grannie shagger all he needs to do now is tell fat frank et al to do the same.
good luck to the mancs for the rest of the season, shame today neither of us went all out for it but maybe the return game could dictate that we must.
p.s ronaldo is absolute fuckin wank. worst player i've seen come to the emirates this season, not joking either, done jack.
