Anyone know roughly how many of the Micallef £4k prints were sold at Laz Inc recently? Particularly Minotaur Weapon?

I read somewhere that they still have a number of these left, together with a number of the Conor Harringtons.

I was wondering the same thing. Do you know where do new micallef prints appear first - POW or Laz? Or both?

These were/are being sold through laz. They were £4000 plus VAT in editions of 50. The last Micallef print to be released through POW was Judgement Day, which was an edition of 500, all signed and sold at £300 if I remember rightly. It was released at santas ghetto but then POW had a few left when they re-opened in February.

You're probably right about the soaring value, which is why anyone thinking about offloading for a quick buck should consider how difficult it will be to regain this work. There'll be no unsigned versions for a few hundred to compensate. Once lost, then lost forever.

I got the Bomber girl as soon as it came out, but I havent even seen it yet as its at my folks hiding from my leaky roof and lack of enough insurance. bugger.

If this Micallef show in LA does go ahead (is it gunna happen or is it mere forum speculation?) you know there are gunna be some high prices. The Micallef that sold at sothebys was only a smaller piece, I think you coulda picked something up from the show like it for a couple of g then it gets to 24k at auction. for a smaller piece.

Solo show sold out to Robbie Williams, Hirst and Stipe, and we all know Steve Laz has quite a list of people with more money than sense.

I reckon there'll be some proper hefty price tags at his next show.
