Choe at Laz....PICS, by stuey09 on Feb 28, 2008 23:32:44 GMT 1, Great installation as the pictures show. A lot of his work had so much detail that the more you looked, the more was revealed. Some really clever art that needs to be seen live to fully appreciate it.
Incidently, much quieter and relaxed than your standard London show, which meant that you could take it all in that bit more.
Good to meet Cocteau, Dmandpenfold, Foundation and Police.

Choe at Laz....PICS, by R0B on Feb 28, 2008 23:53:44 GMT 1, I do find the comments on Choe's blog funny. Anyone seen 'em?
here www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=34648838&postID=8838845642419772879
Someone mentions the Beejoir show. We all know Beejoir is up and coming. Choe is already world renowned and this show is in a different league.

Choe at Laz....PICS, by Francis on Mar 1, 2008 4:46:35 GMT 1, David Choe's probably the most talented street painter in the world today. I would say better than Twist and The Twins.

It's a totally different style to Os Gemeos, skill level is probably equal but it comes down to what you like. There are some amazing canvasses at the London show though, definitely worth getting along. The good ones all sold at the preview or before.

He is definitely the most versatile. I also love his imagination as I always see something new and original with his artwork.

Choe at Laz....PICS, by EHC on Mar 1, 2008 19:19:06 GMT 1, Those weird head paintings are the shit. I'd buy them if I had the loot.
I heard Banksy was at the preview, I wonder if he bought anything.

Choe at Laz....PICS, by craigf on Mar 1, 2008 19:24:25 GMT 1, Thanks for posting the London pictures Pez, saved me the trouble of uploading them all. The two street pieces are really awesome in the flesh. The red on one is really vibrant. I could have easily broken my purchase record today if the more affordable pieces hadn't already been snapped up!
